20 years newer, SUPERCHARGED Mustang still having truble with the Turbo V6's in GN's, and Turbo regals, lol. Guess that's why I love my GN. That Camaro looks pretty quick too!!

I have experienced this many times.

Mustangs are overated gas drinkers. I run 11s in my daily driver, all motor 4cylinder civic, with full interior and I get 30MPG. So that means, a Cobra, with 8cylinders, a supercharger, and fully built from the factory can't keep up with my full interior 4 cylinder civic on street tires. That is pretty sad if you ask me. Let me supercharge or turbo my civic and then you will really be embarrassed!

Dude, Terminator/Cobras are fully built from the factory and supercharged. And a Cobra costs around 30 to 40Gs new right? My car cost me 4Gs from a used car lot and I haven't put more than 5 into it. That includes suspension, interior, exterior, and motor! And I run 11s with full interior on pump gas and street tires. Oh, and it's my daily driver.

you already said its your daily driver... the 2003-04 termis cost around 20k i think. but its not strictly cause its meant to go fast, they will be worth more in the future and looks as if they are holding their value. the point im getting at 4 cylinders will never be as good as 8s. im not trying to be a dick its just that people try to defend 4s so much when they arent capable of what a 8 can do. note* top fuel dragsters are v8s. i dont see 4s running their times

Top fuel and funny cars are a completely different category, and there are some 4 cylinder funny cars. I just don't see why you Mustang fan boys think mustangs are so awesome when they actually aren't. Like I said, as a whole I have probably spent 9 to 10Gs on my car(including buying it) and I run 11s, get 30MPG N/A. A mustang has to have 8 cylinders, a supercharger, and terrible MPG and it still can't keep up with me. And I have barely done anything to my car. I have a long way to go still.

Ok, when did bikes get into this. That's a whole new class of speed and acceleration. Yes, I could've bought a bike, but I didn't want to. I was smart and got a daily driver car that I could drive rain or shine. I didn't have to the money to get both. Oh, and just to make sure we are on the same page I didn't just dump 5Gs into my car all at once. This is over about a 4 year period. And I never said that I have never been beaten buy a car with a larger motor! Quit putting words in my mouth.

Wtf dude? I am just telling my own personal experiences and facts. Hell, a Naturally aspirated, stock SS camaro with a ls1 and a good driver can spank a factory supercharged Cobra. I like V8s if you had read a little further you would see that. I just don't like Mustangs b/c from almost every experience I have had with them they suck! For the money, economy, and efficiency. I think I am going to stick with my civic. And I have been around racing and motors since I was in diapers. Don't lecture

Oh, and I did all of the work myself. I doubt you could buy a new motor for a mustang, build the motor, do all of your interior, exterior, tranny, and suspension work for less than 6Gs.

Yes, but some people gut the charger housing and connect a turbo to it. You can get more power to the motor than with the M90. There have also been a couple of people that have them twin charged. The supercharger AND turbo charger is connected. The power band is freakin sweet.
