@Aerodynic i have the same lightbar except i use it on my POV cuz im on a fire dept. and i was wondering how you get the takedowns to flash. mine are a steady burn and if like my takeodwns and alleys to flash.

This was a top-of-the-line lightbar not all that long ago. The Edge 9908 had 8 strobes, takedowns, alleys, and rear flashers. Then you could add a Piercer II dual strobe to the front center. CometFlash or LongBurst were the common patterns.
Awh man that sucks your two amber lights blink like a hazard I love it when they alt. back and fourth like wig wag. but great looking light bar what do you use it for?
I love the PA 300 siren. I own one and it has such a cutting sound to it. Looks like your 9M is a 8 strobe setup. You should push it to 12, because that'd look stellar.
what camera did you use? most camera's can't keep up with the intensity of strobes so it looks like they either aren't flashing or the patterns usually suck ....
oh.. this is an old video. I don't know which camera i've used.
But now I'll use the Casio Exilim EX-Z200. This camerea has a extra YouTube mode. And you can wacht the newest Videos in High Quality. Whatch my new Videos. For example the Hänsch DBS 2000. This one has doubleflashers. And a gread quality. Just klick on watch in high quality under the video.
Funny thing about America is that each of the 50 states has different standards. Here in Washington (state) police use red/blue, fire only uses red on the actual emergency vehicles but volunteers may use green on their personal vehicles (but no sirens). Tow trucks, however, must have red. Funeral escorts have red but I heard some legislature wants to have funeral escorts and hearses use purple. Go fig.
here in Texas, some state cars use all white led's in the front of the light bar, and red and blue in the back of it, fire use red and white, volunteers use red or green, some have sirens, and funerals use local police or sheriff as escorts, and its cool because a city near me has installed on a couple interceptors four cameras facing each direction on top of the light bar that scans license plates to check if its stolen
I'm waiting to see Whelen come out with HID take-down lights, too. You can get an HID flashlight for $350 (a very important work tool I mean your pistol is $500-800 and you hope you *never* use it why not get the best flashlight since you use it all the time). I read that the HID lights are much brighter but still take less power, even though they are powered by a transformer/ballast (hence the price). Dunno of HID ballasts and bulbs can take constant blinking though, as far as life span.
Our Sheriff's Office uses these on the 2003-2005 Crown Vics. Only our BLUE is on the DRIVER side, and RED on PASSENGER. All of our 2006 + Crown Vics(intrepids, and explorers) have the new THIN LED Whelen light bars.
red and blue allowed to USA and to alot other countrys except greece only blue there allowed , only on ambulances allowed for red and blue for example can have whelen edge for use if they want i have ask alot people.... so dont say you Aerodynic whats hes name what to do lol..
well in most states the strict color red / blue is not allowed without a permit. simply because they are used for police purposes and or ambulances. but other colors such as amber / green / white / purple. ect. are allowed. but you also have to talk to your town clerk.
you do have a good point but i must point out that in the state of new jersey, green lights are strictly prohibited unless the vehicle could be used as a mobile command unit
Hahahaha that's awesome! So you could go driving down the autobahn with a crown vic or caprice with that lightbar on, sirens blaring? I'd go for an NYPD caprice or an NY state police camaro hehe
it's legal only if your collecting or if your a member of a volunteer fire company in a state that allows red/blue and sirens (some states that allows sirens are required to have red/white only)
How did you change the flash pattern? Is it a controller or did you program it yourself?

What did you use for power supplies and did you have to link them or have a means of syncing them together?

The siren just doesn't sound right. I don't know if it's the brand or the mic on the camcorder, but it seems well.. off.
