  • James Dean <3

  • @from212 for this lock there is only 9999 combos

  • @from2

  • haha my school uses these on laptop carts... looks like im getting some free macbook pros

  • That's what she said

  • My paper clip won't go in:-(

  • @zacthebold (try a smaller size, or a bobby pin with the tip cut off)

  • @redsully A short hook pick works much better if you have access to one.

  • IT FREAKING WORKS!!! I was shocked when I felt the lock released in my hand. i've had this lock trying the one by one to 9999 method because i forgot the pin. Thank you

  • @georgedflysk8tr Yep. If you have a bobby pin, even easier =D

  • Just get a universal key at your local hardware, you know the one with the power cord and the spinning disc...

  • does this actually work?

  • I AM BEGGIN YOU REDSULLY HELP ME!! I Bought Master lock #1550 It started out as 000 i wanted to reset it and it worked perfectly i reset it to 4-1-9. I being stupid wanted to master the masterlock and try and reset it back to 0-0-0 it didnt work so i tried to get it back to 419 and that didnt work either! HELP ME~!! I will like all your videos!!! PLEASEE

  • @eshanichak99 You could snip that piece of garbage with a pair of ten dollar tin cutters from ACE...

  • Diebold serrated 6 pin locks are UNPICKABLE. You will never see one on YouTube. They can cost over $200 a set, but what is your piece of mind worth??

  • @ManicMonkey84 Time for some THERMITE

  • @ManicMonkey84 how much did they pay you to spam that message across the entire internet?

I've seen people manipulate greenleaf locks open.

  • i just found out how to get quaters at pizza hut XD

  • @MrDirtyghetto OccupyPizzaHut!

  • One of the previous posters comments is correct. I just purchased a new Masterlock 175 model and there is absolutely no gap at all above or below the number wheels like their is on yours. So this paper clip hack won't work on any new 175 models.

  • @Ben7seven7 ... haters gonna hate. Problem solvers will use a bobby pin / thinner paperclip.

  • Great job !

  • i have a Brinks lock that's been whooping my ass lately. can anyone help with that?

  • I recently bought a cheap wal-mart lock, 45 mm made in china, for less than 3 or 4 bucks and I was wondering if they put any type of security, mushroom, or spool pins on the cheaper locks or if I'm just doing some wrong. I recently began to take up lock-picking as a hobby (partly for academic reasons and partly because of the challange)

  • What about the newer ones like the Master Lock 5400D?

can that be done as well?

what would you recommend for a padlock or combo lock?

Is there a tamper proof/ unpickable one out there?

  • that paticular lock is the easiest to take apart of any one I've seen .One single pin is all that keep the mechanism inside the brass cover.A nail set and a couple of taps...But this was never meant to be a high security lock

  • Thank you it realy work'd for me

  • Most (not all, of course) 4-digit locks can be picked by going up through the years from 1900 to present, and if that doesn't work, then going through all 365 days of the year from 0101 through 1231.

But this method is cool, too. ;)

  • The newer 175's don't seem pickable this way anymore. There was absolutely no space on mine for a paperclip. But here's a good tip: if you want to pick a 4-digit lock, you stand a good chance of succeeding by starting at 1900 and going up to the current year, then if that doesn't work, enter month-day combinations. Most people use a year or a month-day combo for these locks.

  • atta boy@!

  • 0:33 - Thats what she said.

  • @Y2KxSurvivor i knew someone was gonna say that...

  • Isn't that something ? Anyone ever heard of doing it with a paper clip?

  • Ok, I find it EXTREMELY difficult to make the paperclip look like that! Why am I so dumb!

  • this clip is brilliant

  • Sweet, now I can steal all my uncle's Hustler mags.

  • haha i was picking a lock for our filing cabinet for fun and the whole lock came out of the cabinet

  • Hello,

Please show me how to change combinations of this lock.

    Thanks

  • @khonglap you need the key that your lock came with in order to do that

  • @khonglap open the lock, on the side you will see what looks like an old fashioned key hole. stick an object in the hole to press in the little button and hold it. WHILE HOLDING IT IN turn the wheels to the desired combination and release the button. that will be the new combination.

  • wow, cool vid....you sound like SPIDERMAN !!!

now i'll be lock picking just for fun!!

  • thank you. and i wont be using this to do illegal things! :) (JK)

  • STUPID AND FUCK YOU FAG!!!!! ALSO HOPE YOU DIE CUZ IF I FIND YOU I WILL KILL YOU BITCH

  • hey fag nut iam a locksmith and that gay trick wont work on a working lock !!!!!!!!!

  • Hey thanks an idiot put one of these locks on my friends lock and now thanks to you I picked it. You saved his life. Faved and subscribed!!!!!

  • My X's pick my apt. door lock everytime I move. I suppose at some point I should figure out what they are doing. I love how the police say "you need a lot of patience it just CAN'T be done by ANYONE". Wish you lived next door to me I'd hire you in a second! I'm not looking to pick locks. I am wishing to stop the pickers!

  • @ojewel Get more expensive locks that have mushroom pins in them. These take TONS of patience, so much so that locksmiths sometimes just cut out the door jib and start over if the keys are lost. They basically allow all pins to be set in two positions, so even if you're feeling a lock (rel. easy), there's 2^n combos that feel 'correct,' where n is the number of pins.

  • @redsully thanks for getting back to me. I will look into what you have stated.

  • @ojewel FFFAAAIIILLL !!!

  • @carzmine9 OCD with the number 3?LMAO!!!

  • @ojewel thumbs up for the X !!!!

  • @scott80100 I have seen some of peoples comments to you. I bet you wish you were my X!

  • @ojewel look on ebay theres liquids that you put in the lock that makes the lok unpickable

  • @StealthyPotatoes what is that liquid called?

  • @ojewel ignore that doushe talking about the mushroom pins. they make things harder but they usually just make picking take 3 times longer. they will slow down your x but won't stop him. invest in a $100 medeco deadbolt at locksmith shop, they don't sell anything good at the hardware store.

  • @ojewel easy by a gun or have a cartoon death trap like a swinging axe when they open the door 8D

  • @ojewel Install a security camera system with motion detection and link it to your cell phone, you can get a picture message sent to your phone whenever someone approaches your door. Either that or get a magnetic-swipe (Non-RFID) access control system installed, I'd like to see him pick one of those.I can do it for you if you live in the tri-state area BTW.

  • @from212 Actually, magswipe is EASY to defeat with your own Hi-Co reader (~$15.00)... just need either a dummy swipe or random gen guess.

  • @redsully You can't crack it by generating random numbers, it's only interface (the magnetic reader heads) reads one set of code per swipe. There are trillions of different possible combinations but only 1 opens the door. The high quality outdoor ones are made of solid steel which are almost impossible to take apart from the outside so there is no way to open it and modify it as a "card skimmer". There is no way to break in unless you have had the original access card in your hand to copy.

  • there's an easy way that normally works with those kinds of locks, you have to always be pulling the top, and the you start sliding the numbers starting from the right to the left, the right numbers will lock in place, and the lock will be open, keep in mind that you have to be pulling the top during the process

  • @seidi619 that's hardly going to work on a depression lock like the #175. but it will work on cheapo bike chainlocks.

  • @redsully you're probably right, i've never tried it on #175 locks, but thx for the video, i'm going to try it. :)

  • can the key work without knowing the combo

  • @MrPhantastic08

What key ? You drunk ?

  • cool vid

  • NICE WORK LOL

  • so how many store did you break through?

  • polo shirt :D

  • haha insert

  • Do you know a way to reset the combination without the current combination. We have dozens of locks with unknown combinations. I can open most of them, but want to change the combination.

  • arrest that man!

  • 2 words air can

  • with the james dean poster on the wall. nice i have the same. :)

  • This is cool but I can pick car doors

  • cool

  • Do I need hands to do this or no?

  • Hermes much?

  • All Oblivion players should take note of this, in case any changes are made, or you come across the lock that no Skeleton Key can pass...

  • i will strap a TNT stick on the padlock and it will be much easier .

  • Dear god i need to do this crap

  • just did it on a brand new lock. Me and another girl in the office, so YES it is definitely "doable".

  • @yesimorange Congratulations... you did it!

I just did it again for fun and left the utility service a message. LOL.

  • im a great lock picker i picked at a car lock once

  • bobbypin easier

  • @duelmastereric truth... bobbypins are very strong and really are quite forgiving. If you're not getting it with a paperclip, you probably won't get laid with this trick.

"Hey baby, you got a bobby pin so I can needlessly show off"

    "yeah, McDreamy"

  • @redsully Lol.

  • new locks are made to a tighter tolerance. paperclip won't fit.

  • I can pick one of those with a shotgun :D

  • @DarkWarrior450 How about with a nuke?

  • @JKAFactionz Too costly

  • there is another way to unlock this lock. just that it takes more time :P

  • Hey redsully i wanted to know a thing about lockpicking... well let's say we're picking a lock with for example 5 pins and you push one of them up then how do i make that one not fall down while i pick other 4 pins?

  • u put tension on the tool with a tension wrench and when the tension is on it keeps the pins youve picked up but make sure u can actually feel that youre putting tension on it

  • a lot of the cheap locks with a 3 to 5 wheel combination have a very small button almost unnoticeable unless u look. all you have to do is push it with a pen, paper clip etc. turn each wheel and itll open

  • wow dat helped alot someone in da locker room at school stole my mp3 player and put in her locker and had a master lock and i wanted it back da teachers didnt belive dat it was mine cuz she change everything haha got it back set things sright she got her ass kicked

  • 5 stars man I had a big ass lock weighed like one bagillion pounds if I could find it I would mail it to ya...master locks suck major cock

  • You should redo this with an opened-up lock (or one of plexiglass) so it's visible exactly what happens.

  • i tried it.never worked.

  • Bunch of damned thieves lol...

  • ?v=43EtAgFSso0

Yes, yes, indeed. Leave it to the Chinese!

  • im so trying this

  • It so works.

  • This does not work on my 175 so I think they must have fixed them.

  • Nope. The paperclip you're using is too large.

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLL

  • coool

  • Wow thx.

  • No problem - stay safe.

  • cool

  • Another person cut open this lock and the thing inside dose not move to the right it moves up or down but because you were putting pressure to the right it made the lever type thing push up and unlock

  • Yes, this is correct. I have linked to his video in the comments because it really is a good demonstration.

  • Where you in jail.

  • where? learn to spell....

  • Jesus, no need to be a grammar nazi!

  • Being in jail for knowing how to pick a lock?

  • this awesome!! paper clips do magic if bent the correct way LOL =D im trying this ^^

  • cool

  • WHat kinda paperclip is needed? I tried this on many many different 175's and it didn't work.

Surely by now Masterlock has fixed their 175's so this doesn't work anymore?

  • Not yet.

  • Is there a safe Lock? I mean...if i buy a small lock they open....if i buy one super protected guess wot they do... Nice vid 5/5

  • paperclip dont fit mine

  • He made this video to help you in tight situation, not to steal, and abuse..

  • ya probably wont believe me but there all mine :/ i wasted like 1000 € on bikes and they all got robed cos i didnt lock them :/

  • stupid

  • Nice :D

  • preety cool

  • iron your shirt!!!!!

  • first one iv seen...

  • what if the paper clip got jam in t

  • cool

  • Nice AE polo. I like the color

  • looks easy but i bet its not

  • Cool

    5stars dude.

  • Well, this is smart.

I know, let's teach every thief in the world how to pick a lock. lol

Sorry, couldn't help the sarcsm. Great video, though

  • lol

  • Locks keep honest people honest.

Just letting the public know which locks NOT to use.

    Criminals can't know everything... : 0

  • Tried it and it works, thanks.

  • would you know how to pick an American combination lock? I've forgoten the code and tried the soda can trick, but all it did was cut me

  • THis isn't working for me.. i've done it before hundreds of times, but now.. it seems as if the inside is jammed? Or maybe broken?? If anyone knows what i'm talking about please message me for help.. I can't remember the password and i need to get it open!! Please help.. Thanks!!

  • this is for brentyn1985 just get a hammer and smash it open

  • Haha. Sounds good! That lock is a piece of crap anyways!

  • one time in a shopping center there was a voting box with a 3 number combination lock, bored as hell I decided i wanted to try open it.. I started it 0-0-0 and was going to go 0-0-1, 0-0-2 etc.. I set it to 0-0-0 and it unlocked straight away. xD

  • there was one where In used to work on an emergency locker and it was 9-1-1 ... good thing I started at 999

  • cool story bro!

  • pretty legit

  • dude that is so cool

  • does th bent or pointy side go in i cant tell

  • Bent, the loop needs to grab the hooks inside the lock.

  • i can pick a safe with a password and a key in 10 minutes... is that fast?

  • Lmao, i picked a lock at school off someones locker :D

  • why is his shirt so wrinkled..damn

  • you got some isseus men..

  • This was in college. Can't remember ever going to class, then.

I iron my shirts now. Problem solved.

  • i found out how to pick one one the different sounds they make

  • people already stole my bike!

  • great

thanks for telling people how to do this

so that they can steal my bike........

    well done

  • No problem - maybe you should get a more secure lock (e.g. NOT kryptonite, either).

  • all these people saying shit about his shirt are probably angry cause they can't do this. just a hunch.

  • I don't own an iron - and don't really care about white slander . . .

  • jackdfrost gaaaay yo wtf ?!?!?!?!? lookin at his shirt ?!?!?!?! nice vid

  • Lol what's with the people saying "Iron your shirt" We're here to learn how to pick a lock, not bitch about shirts.

  • he should be a surgeon

  • theres no way this works a paper clip will not fit the opening where the wheels are.

  • You are correct that larger-sized paperclips will not enter the digits - but smaller ones, bent in half for rigidity will!

  • shut the fuk up who ever wrote those pervert comments

  • why do you care about his shirt?.....

  • Would it work to picklock thoose round cheap bikelocks with paperclips?

  • Try aluminum shims - search for that . . .

  • did any one trys

    and did it works???

  • you should really put in ur comments or at the beginning of ur video "for educational purpose only" or else if someone steals and they point to ur video, u can get fined

  • No, you really can't. There is nothing illegal about picking your own locks, owning picks explicitly for picking locks or telling others how to pick locks. If I take a gun safety course where I learn how to shoot better and then go on a killing spree, the instructor isn't held responsible for my actions.

  • I'm not really that worried. Thoughtcrime is still free , maybe for at least another few years : )

  • you live across the street from a statium

  • This does work. I watched the video twice and had the lock open in less then a minute. Didn't do me no good though, the lock was new in the package and would not open on 0000. After i got it open, per the video, you still can not set the combo unless you know the combo. The package had been opened so I suspect someone returned the lock to Lowe's and they put it back on the shelf. These are not high security locks, they just keep honest people honest. Good to know I won't have cut no more off.
