That is the ultimate fate of any minecraft player. Lately, I've been obsessing over the main gate of a castle based off of another game that I will never finish because the height caps off at 64 blocks with at least a 40 block high, 5 block wide wall emcompassing the area.

Couldn't you build most of it on the open ocean instead of flattening entire mountains? If not, build a blast shield and look the other way.

I just finished building half of a stairwell of my castle when I hit the max height of the map. I guess that the stairwell should have gone another 40 to 55 blocks or so higher. I wish the max height was 256 blocks instead of 64, then I could build the entire KINGDOM rather than just the front gate.

@CodeR2Gundam00 I leveled the mountain range for resources, not for space. My lighthouse goes deep into the ocean and has an underwater and underground tunnel leading into the basement of my castle. Now I just need to start building up to max height.

That's nothing. I did something similar (though admittedly, without the near-drowning waterway transport and with my long-straight runs not following the edge of the level) in maybe four or five days at 5 or 6 hours per day.

The indicator that Minecraft is a good game is that I didn't lose interest or reach "the end" after the first 20 hours. (Though after about 35, I managed to put it down indefinitely to focus on coursework)
