I don't like google. I did a google ads campaign and it was like having my bank account plundered.

Why would America want a weak dollar to buy overseas assets that would cost more? I would think it would be the opposite way.

They want a weaker dollar for exports, not for imports. America must rebuild its production base, it can't trade paper for goods indefinitely.

@chocomalk I agree w thereallurker. USA has no industry & no infrastructure excluding roads 4 petrol cars. In order 2 rebuild, would need 2 import materials & knowledge. In order 2 import, would need strong USD. So, I think something is going on. Chaos? Suicide?

Either way, strong or weak dollar, America faces a crisis. But a strong dollar based on what? The world has woken up to the paper money scheme of the Fed and only plays along because of the reserves they hold. Once they run for the door the dollar is devalued anyway, it may be better for them to do it themselves  in a controlled manner for the sake of the global economy.

In this context it's hard to say what they were getting at, a "strong" dollar in Max eyes could be the one backed by lead bullets and depleted uranium. Or it could be that the US has a stake in the new local currencies in the middle east. Remember, trade could also be arms instead of money, and that is a strong dollar.
