Oh and, not only would Motormaster have had a new voice actor by this point, I don't know if Wildrider would have had his new, alternate accent from 'The Burden Hardest to Bear' which was a season 3 episode which aired after the movie and when the show was drawing to a close in the States, Breakdown definitely would have had his *new* voice actor (Alan Oppenheimer, not Jack Angel, who originally voiced him in their first appearance, the two parter episode 'The Key to Vector Sigma'

Out of all the four combiner teams who appeared at the end of season 2, the only one not to appear were the *Stunticons* (I know we would have seen them *again* had there been *more* episodes after this one in the *States*, but they would have done what I don't *like* them doing - form *Menasor*) [I keep saying, I prefer the five *individual* Stunticons]

Has anyone seen the Japanese version of the Headmasters??? An ancient race of autobots that were reforged into headmasters??? Far different story with more detail and whole lot of shiite. This was far better though then Transformers: Headmaters, haventthe other 2 series from Japan yet.

@Cyke101 Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime is better suited for this new generation of Transformers than Optimus Prime is. With that said, either they should have spared Optimus Prime in the movie or killed him and KEPT HIM DEAD. The movie promos billed the movie as the "final confrontation between Optimus Prime and Megatron". That means we got snookered, since Megatron got remade into Galvatron and they brought Optimus Prime back to life. Plus the opening credits have Rodimus Prime (not Hot Rod) on them.

@shermanvermin76 YES, I do. It ruins the whole point of the movie. Either you keep Prime alive or you kill him and keep him DEAD. The movie said that an Autobot was chosen by the matrix to save the Autobots (and the Decepticons) from a threat that would have destroyed them all.

Hot Rod gets chosen (becoming Rodimus Prime), only to have Optimus return and Rodimus reverting to Hot Rod. It's silly. Plus, the promos telegraphed OP's death ("the final battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron").

He uses the way he's a pacifist as an excuse for leaving the Autobots in 'The Ultimate Weapon' which is similarly hypocrite the way Lifeline from Action Force (whose appearance in the show coincided with this show's third season) sometimes had a *gun*. A pacifist with a gun never *makes sense*.

@dracowheelz5 Metroplex and Trypticon were *phased out* by this season, as, with *all* new seasons, they want to *get rid of* the older characters so that they can make room for the *newer* characters; Metroplex was replaced with 'Fortress Maximus' and Trypticon was replaced with 'Scorponok'.

@bernito2 You seem to be missing the *point*; he was *insane*, because of the length he spent in the lava at Planet Thrull after he lost the fight in Transformers The Movie when Hot Rod became Rodimus Prime, who subsequently threw him out of Unicron (this is even when, where, how and why his Leonard Nimoy voice was changed back to Frank Welker).

They tried to *cure* his insanity in the season 3 episode after the movie 'Webworld' but this seemed impossible;

The main fault I find with this episode is the bizarre absence of Trypticon and Metroplex. The Autobots look up at Scorpinok and wonder, "How are we ever gonna fight that thing?!"

The only other silliness I'll comment on is this "plasma energy" stuff. It won't harm humans? LOL! Why don't we test that out by plunging Daniel into the nearest star's photosphere, then? ;-P
