Just like life itself, video games - the graphics, sound, gameplay, etc - have evolved over time. Heck, games are still evolving....Atari 2600 is fun!!
I think this was before the intellevision and colecovision, and the only other consoles were dedicated game consoles that had like 4 built in games, and bad rip offs of the 2600 like the Arcadia 2001
