Glad I glanced at the comments...I was about to go out on a great google goose chase to find an answer to the same question as bumpskir, who is no doubt off on a mogul run in Colorado by now. Will throw up a server 2008 standard for the connection server. Maybe there is a need to have a "pre-requisites" video in this series? (and maybe there is now that View is in version 5?)...I stuck with version 4.6 since the rest of my infrastructure is 4.X...maybe that was ignorant as well.
@bumpskir composer has to go on the same server as vcenter, connection server i've always installed it as a separate server as per the best practices. Never tried to install it all on the same box

Can i install vcenter, composer, and connection server all on the same box ?
