  • The one dislike belonged to Fontaine.

  • Andrew Ryan is the most interesting man in the world. listen to the first few words he says. sounds just like him.

  • Andrew Ryan looks like Walt Disney

  • @Mirinovic And sounds like Orson Welles.

  • Better, but their human animation work is still hovering around the same quality as Toy Story 1 here. They've done *much* Better in the Bioshock: Infinity gameplay.

  • @TheAnthMan it's called Bioshock Infinite.

  • @TheAnthMan You're forgeting that this was made primarily by 2k Marin. I think they did very well considering how hard a Bioshock sequel was to make and they had to live up to the expectations of Bioshock 1. My only regret was not knowing who Delta really was... the man behind the mask.

  • @littlemaster22 Subject Delta was originally a guy called "Johnny Topside" who discovered Rapture whilst deep-sea diving, Ryan thought Johnny might be a spy so they detained Johnny and placed him in experiments with other "criminals" and innevitably the "little sister protection" programme. He was paired with Elanor after Sofia Lamb was confined to Persephone for creating a social uprising against Ryan. Check out the "Bioshock: Rapture [Book]" it has all this info. FANTASTIC book.

  • @IainMurdock Who needs books when that info was in the game itself :D

  • @KKINTI No, they used a sea slug and prossesed it, the slug is known as adam, what makes plasmids, big daddys, little sisters, big sisters, and misc things.

  • I'd vote for him, but he'd get brutally golf-club assassinated by Jack.

  • so rapture can mutate humans with super power but not have color tv

  • @KKINTI Actually if you played Minervas Den, you will see a prototype for the color tv

  • @KKINTI its 1959

  • Hey, I want my toast! Where is my toast? Ryan...you can go suck an egg...

  • I'd Totally vote for him!

  • Andrew Ryan: "And so... Andrew Ryan offers you a toast..."

LET'S HAVE A TOAST FOR THE DOUCHEBAGS, LET'S HAVE A TOAST FOR THE ASSHO-OOOO-OLES, LET'S HAVE A TOAST FOR THE SCUMBAGS-SSS-S. EVERYONE OF THEM THAT I KNOW!

  • @selty Don't forget the butter :)

  • @littlemaster22 hahahahah

  • @ 09spence haha obviously it wasnt.

  • RAPTURE is my city,i must defend him.¡

  • I get the feeling that Infinite may share the same universe as Rapture. We may yet see a reference or maybe even an appearance of Andrew Ryan.

  • @GAF1987 They are different timezones mate :) Bioshock inifnite is way before the events on bioshock 1 and 2

  • @littlemaster22 Yes I know, but Ryan will probably be a lot younger IF he appears in the game. You never know.

  • @GAF1987 Well Andrew ryan should be in his 30-60. And Infinite takes place a good 50 years or more beforehand from what I recall.

  • are these prerenderd cut scence? or models?

  • @mickeymouse14 Pre-rendered. You can see this ingame.

  • Like a fucked up version of Walt Disney...

  • It reminds be Gorbachev, USSR President who said in 1990 : "1991, may be the finest year for the Soviet Union..."

    That joke.

  • Those dreaded words, "May this be our finest year..."

    It wasn't.

  • Ayn Rand was an evil bitch and Objectivists and libertarians are completely out of touch with reality

  • @Svperstarr If that's the best argument you socialists have, no wonder nobody believes in your brain-dead altruistic ideas anymore...

  • damn...Walt Disneys fucked up brother.

  • I'm gonna miss him in Bioshock 3 :S

  • Walt Disney meets Orson Welles!

  • You see that 1911 button next to the full screen... press it ( :

  • did you make this or where did this clip originate from? i dont remember any part of bioshock with this clip

  • @Xesavu No this is from Bioshock 2. This can be seen fully when you first start multiplayer and briefly in SP in the intro

  • REVOLUTION

  • trotsky was a queer

  • I'm gonna hijack all the TV producers, so they play this on December 2012.

  • Happy New Year!!!

  • @XyzKiller2 Good Evening my friends. I hope you are enjoying the 6000 views and xmas celebrations. To youtube 2011. May it be our finest year ^^

  • Why'd they change him

  • It's so weird that Armin Shimerman voices this guy. It sounds nothing like he actually sounds.

  • 5000 view!?!?!?! Wow I love you guys. Thxs for the likes aswell, I know the one person who disliked slipped his mouse :D

  • I heard his son killed him. But why???? Does anyone know the motive?

  • @auburnchick939 His "son", so to speak, was a creation made by Frank Fontaine (Andrew Ryan's rival) at the apex of the war that broke out between the two. Jack is essentially invincible because of the Vita-Chambers (of which is genetically locked to Ryan's DNA), and was hard-wired to do anything Fontaine/Atlas told him to do (Would You Kindly?)...including killing Ryan.

  • @BlackBoxInc One thing I never understood though, was why Andrew Ryan allowed himself to be killed. I think it was because he didn't know until later that Jack was actually his son and refused to kill him. Or to prove a point that he was not a human being, but a slave to Fontaine.

  • @AtlantaFiend He allowed himself to be killed to taunt his son on his lack of free will. Instead of Atlas ordering jack to kill him as a slave, Ryan decided he would do it himslef to mock jack and also stick to his idealogy.

  • Andrew Ryan for 2012 president!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RRbattlefield Right because we need a fictional elitist who cares nothing for those below him in status as the man in charge of a country.

  • @RRbattlefield that would be so awesome

  • @RRbattlefield I'd vote for him. If he can build a city at the bottem of the ocean, imagine what he could do with America.

  • @RRbattlefield

be nice, would get rid of the parasitic social programs, cut taxes and privatize all education services,

  • @RRbattlefield Vote for him would you kindly?

  • @TheAlexagius sorry I alredy break a spell :-D

  • Doesn't this play at the start when Eleanor and Delta are making their way through the New Years Eve party?

  • Anyone else think it looks like he is reading a note card at the end?

  • NOW thats a Big Glass...

  • What the hell happened to Ryan's face?

  • The animation movements remind me of that of a Pixar film.

  • im mad tht andrew ryan is russian and he sounds completly like hes from america

  • I wonder why Lamb was adored so much...personally I'm not sure I would agree - an entirely free nation where your work equaled your reward turning into some ludicrous example of Socialism...

  • In hindsight...she WAS the only "normal-looking" chick in Rapture at that time, besides Eleanor who was like 13-16, way under the legal age of consent...

  • @MicahOmahaSuicidal Well, she and atlas maanged to do so because of charity. In a city that pisses on you, you feel alone and trapped. But when someone who is powerful and can take on ryan cares about you and treats you like you're worth something, you will do anything for that person, perhaps worshipping them. People thoguth when they came down to rapture that ryan's ideals were great, but when people got poor, lamb, fontaine, and atlas showed how horrible ryan's ideals are. Therefore, a war.

  • @ThomasHayden1995 okay, that makes perfect sense then. just as a side note though - fontaine and atlas were the same person. fontaine won the hearts and atlas convinced them to go to war by staging fontaine's death. but that makes sense, really it does.

  • @MicahOmahaSuicidal I know atlas and fontaine are the same, but they are considered different characters. But yeah...

  • @MicahOmahaSuicidal fontaine staged his own death before atlas emerged

  • @littlemaster22 that's what i meant...fontaine staged his death then used atlas as an alias to push people to the brink of war because everyone KNEW there was a fontaine-ryan feud and it probably wouldn't have gone so well but atlas convinced them to go to war as a different person than fontaine.

  • @littlemaster22

Fontaine is atlas, if you play the level rapture central control, you'll now that atls IS fontaine

  • @ThomasHayden1995 Lets face it, poor people are poor because they are laid back and wanted handouts (I call them democrats), In a city where Ryanism, unleashed capitalism, is the economic system and there is no government you have to fend for yourself, there is no place for parasites. Ryan's ideals were correct, but in the end he was destroyed by the weak, those that desire what they refuse to work for, it is a shame really, cause they brought the downfall of the greatest city on earth.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 You make Rapture sound like a perfect Utopia, Rapture's purely capitalistic society, with no social programs whatsoever, everything within the city was privately owned and came with a price. This included the city's food, health care, sanitation, and even its oxygen supply. There were few, if any, defined norms for businesses and labor, allowing unscrupulous business practices (such as overpriced vending service) to flourish.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 This system alienated Rapture's less fortunate citizens, who began to resent Ryan as naive and elitist. Andrew Ryan's hostility to "parasites" and his paranoia of these poorer citizens led to the downfall of himself, as well as his city. This is why an unregulated Capitalist society would only lead to ruin, even Adam Smith the "Father of Capitalism" admitted that the government should have a small amount of say in business to keep it fair.

  • @USAForLife2057 He did fail, and government is needed. We cant have a substitute for it based from corporations. These corporations might do their job but like all companies they are vulnerable to corruption and deception and when economic bubbles burst and recession and depression ensues they like everyone else dependent on costumers collapse. We needed a limited libertarian government that holds only the most basic and necessary business and economic regulations.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 and crimes that not to be made according to the moral objectivist are:

murder, robbery, and kidnapping, when he began to notice that people are starting to kill each other, the police were in charge, and when he began to feel the mutations, the legislators were to begin to intervene.

  • @NekoyX Very true, government is needed, no system can sustain itself without government, but in terms of economic involvement there should be no state influence. The markets will regulate themselves and set their own standards through innovation and competition, but a state is needed to prosecute the crimes of man and to protect its citizens from foreign threats. Outside of that however, the government has no business in medicine, income, regulation, or anything else. Power to the People!

  • While it is true Rapture collapsed, was not only because of unregulated capitalism (which I do not think that is the culprit), Rapture had virtually no government, the city was an organized anarchy, the objectivist, anarchy does not recognize, the government must protect citizens Objectivism recognizes 3 required in government organizations, and local advocacy forces, police and the ruled,

  • how did you find dis?

  • @hitman3106 I was randonly looking through some files out of curiosity. I came across Bimp or Gimp files. So i found a program which cld open them and i found the bioshock vids. So I recorded them for your delight. :D

  • @hitman3106 it was in the multiplayer I believe, don't quote me on that though.

  • Where was this in the game? I don't remember this in the game.

  • @GAF1987 This was in the opening to Multiplayer. You can also briefly see this in the intro for singleplayer while *spoiler* subject delta walks up some stairs before he dies.

  • @GAF1987 This was a speak on a television in the intro of Bioshock 2.

  • hmm...(is all I have to say about that)

  • @Josephine701: yh it is.... considering there is no 3-40 -_-

  • He may be a meglomaniac but damn that Ryan is good at making speeches. And hell a lot of the stuff he says makes sense.

  • @BritishEmpire4life yep and he is also really wise too

  • He was actually Walt Disney.

  • @blakegriplingph

And Rapture is Disney World and all of the splicers are using adam to make themselves turn into disney charachers lol!

  • @TheGrayWolf96 lol to both of you. Mickey Mouse would be scary in Rapture.

  • @blakegriplingph i built a theme park where the children would not be afraid of the rides...... where the characters, would not be constrained by the small.... and where the guest, would not be bound by... pitty humility..... i chose to build..... walt disney world!!!!!

  • @blakegriplingph no, Walt Disney hated the Jews, Ryan actually is Jewish by birth, (but then became an atheist)

  • @Spechtcorlew LOL Fail troll is fail.

  • @7imesplitters lol, goddam spammers :/

  • What's with Ryan's weird facial expression?

  • it's kl
