  • Global "Whining"... Give me a break...

The planet is fine... the people are screwed!

  • Again, Al Gore is a very important voice in the world of change

  • i love how people treat gore like he's a scientist and not a politician

  • We voted Bush in his first term because we belived his lies during his run for office. The second time we voted for Al Gore but Bush threw a 2 year old temper tantrium till he was appointed by the Supreme Court. ( Which was reformed by the Bush Administration ). Most of us agree with the rest of the World when it comes to Bush. All I can say is I hope that Obama can repair the damage that was caused by the Bush Administration.

  • Why did you stupid Americans vote for Bush??!

  • oh my god....why didn't we ask you first???!!! you are so much wiser than we "stupid americans"!

  • I usually like Charlie Rose, but he gets pretty annoying after awhile in this. He interrupts and tries to finish Gore's sentences a lot.

  • and they voted for W.Bush,

    fucking stupid Americans!

  • actually we voted for gore, he won the popular election, bush won the electoral college, politics and money run this country and its sad indeed, now look at the state of our economy! oil runs this world!! im sure you know all about that saudiguy!!

  • Al Gore is a very serious man with a serious message, and he should be taken seriously.

  • Al Gore is a very important voice in the world of change

  • I think that what we should be doing now is not stone around here and raise awareness in our people that global warming is happening. We have got to start doing something individually. Currently, I do not see much being done. So we have really got to start individually and do something ourselves. We should not wait for the world leaders. We have to start and start now. WE KNOW THAT GLOBAL WARMING IS HAPPENING BUT WE ARE NOT DOING NOTHING. Pass this on (copy and paste)

  • I just wish anybody can speak to people could talk like al gore done.I like statesman instead of politician.Compare to our so-called

    leader,al gore like god.

  • Al Gore may be wrong or have false facts, but he has made many people focus on this issue we call "Global warming". Pro or Con, it will make us finally focus on an issue worth investigating rather than silly ones we all have known of.

  • Gore is a world class a-hole and political manipulator. His man-made global warming b.s. has been shot full of holes, yet -- surprise! -- the dissenting voices of REASON have been silenced. Astounds me how many people automatically buy into this garbage without resistance when there is a ton of evidence to the contrary.

  • Have you seen the Glaciers melt? The amount they have disappeared in the last 100 years, is disproportionate to the amount that they have done in world history.

It's also insane to say "ton of evidence to the contrary". That's like 1% of scientists, who are paid by Big Oil. Then Big Oil says the truth is somewhere in between. If we took that logic (world is round -vs- world flat). Big Oil would say it's roundish.

Finally, this topic it's better to be conservative. Caz we only have 1 world.

  • As usual, Gore supporters are quick to point out any money dissenters make...but won't (can't?) notice that the overwhelming majority of the money on this one is going to those that support the "scare" (as usual...just check out how the military gets money from the government).

So if money discredits you...then the fear-mongers are officially discredited. (Now let's watch how money DOESN'T effect it in this case....hee hee...)

  • Al Gore is an amazingly compassionate man. He deserves more credit than he gets!!

  • he's a buffoonish moron, deliberately inflammatory, and a complete hypocritical liar, and anyone who believes anthropomorphic global warming is equally as stupid

  • Whew...tone down your hate man. Life is too short.

  • thank u maq05t! finally someone comes out and says what a pile of BS this is

  • who do you trust? politicians or scientists?

  • What a simplistic way to approach ideas.

Why attack the messenger? Is there an expert on every good idea in the world? People say, "don't run with scissors," bus does that mean there's a "scissor-running-health expert" out there?

All people can have commons sense. All people can listen and interpret scientists' reports and warnings.

Someone with such exposure is perfect for spreading the word on something so important.

Don't focus on the messenger-listen and think about the message.

  • "It's a spiritual issue"

    Oh, please...

  • I agree, loving and respecting the land and the way we live with consideration for it, is a spiritual issue. Few will agree.

  • Its ironic how this man was born to lead....but never got a chance to do so, as president.

  • you're a wise man murpdizzle. I Hope Obama Takes Him As Vice President.

  • Its ironic how this man was born to lead....but never got a chance to do so, as president.

  • brilliant video...although..i am surprised,,is it really this serious...? are we being told crap from our governments, and does no one at the top have the balls to take this on....the only thing is ..through out this video, i have not heard anything . of how to fix the envoirnment.? what is al gores solutions.?

  • with the money spent on oil and the war in iraq america could have become the greenest counrty in the world. unfortunatly not. old white men blowin the shit outa everything is more fun

  • While I certainly agree that it is the duty of any society to protect and improve the environment, Al Gore is not the right front man for any serious dialogue about how to do this. His sprawling ranch in Tennessee leaves 20x the carbon footprint of the average home in that state. So the truth about the dangers posed to the environment by the overconsumption of fossil fuels are certainly not "inconvenient" for this SUV-driving, private jet-flying hypocrite.

  • unfortunatly many americans have an enormus footprint on the enviroment. The usa is infact the most polutant counrty and the country that seem lest willing to change. Money over powers truth and ignorance comes before intellegence and it is a serious problem

  • I certainly think you have a point, although Russia, China, Japan, and India also have a huge impact on the environment. I wouldn't want anyone to have the impression that this is only an American problem.

  • USA has the greatest impact per capita

China, Japan and Russa are doing something to reduce there footprint. ie china has cut down on there coal industry and turned to hydropower. Japan was never a huge problem but they are doing stff to

  • Amazingly forgot to mention that he came back from the Kyoto summit with the treaty agreed to by him in 1998 and that it was soundly rejected by a Democrat controlled Senate 95 to ZERO with no help from President Clinton. I guess George Bush, Cheney and Rove did that too.

I would have loved to have heard one of them mention nuclear or geothermal to influenced a cleaner environment while still MAINTAINING A COMPETITIVE ECONOMY.

  • Its ironic how this man was born to lead....but never got a chance to do so, as president.

  • mmm...
