I really want to like this ad, but it has way too many messages (and words). Is this for the web? To make the netroots feel good (and raise money online)? Or is it to persuade undecided voters?
If it's to persuade voters on the fence, it's way too long and muddled. The only people who actually say "Blue Dog" are already on your side. If it's designed for web fund-raising, it needs more substance.
