  • I'm not one to comment but I saw where you mentioned you don't get much feedback on your original works. I stumbled upon you because I'm a big Who fan. I think your renditions of their stuff is really great. Good job. I like this piece too and I think its good to foster creativity. Where would we be if Pete Townshend wasn't creative? haha

  • I think you are really talented!

You're a very good composer and a great piano player and good singer! I really like all your vids and I enjoy to hear your own pieces at least as much as the covers! Keep it up man! :)

  • dude, you are awesome!!

    you got heaps of talent!!

    good work

  • As you can tell by my comments I've come across your music, and have enjoyed every single bit of it!!!

I love the set up you have here, it matches very well to whats written!!

...this makes me wish I had continued on my Music career

  • I really like this. I've never written for band before. I've written for string orchestra and chorus at my high school. I guess the large variety of band instuments intimidates me slightly...

  • Yeah, the more instruments, the more difficult for me. It just takes longer, and these pieces were required to be written, rehearsed and ready to play in one semester. That may seem like alot of time, but those weeks go by quick when you're under pressure. This actually isn't even a full band. I was never able to push myself enough to write for a full band. Anyway thanks for watching this. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. These original works don't get much feedback. Talk to you later.

  • Are you a composition major?? Thats what I'm doing when I start university next year. I'm sooo excited!

  • I made a little joke film with my friend called the Bikit standoff which you can find if you look me up 'Gildrith' - it's pretty lame but i wrote the music for it, the midi is horrible but feel free to take a look. - All the best!

  • Bravo, i think with a full orchestra you would be able to achieve a very filmic sound. I always get a kind of Fantasy Adventure vibe from your music. I saw someone mention Star Trek at somepoint, but i think its definately more fantasy than sci-fi. Do you ever write piano solos?

  • I'm sorry its taken me so long to respond to you. I've written some piano songs with solo-ish phrases in them, but not like jazz improve or anything. I do fiddle with some blues rifs. That could be soloistic. I like that you hear a fantasy sort of sound in this piece. I think that is more of what I was going for.

  • No worries, have you been able to get any more of your pieces performed since this one? Do you ever use any software to play your music? I use Sibelius which is okay but midi just makes you despair. I play the piano and would be fascinated to see some of your sheet music, though of course thats entirely up to you. I really like your sound and very much hope i will be hearing more of yours soon.

  • This was the last piece I wrote before I graduated. I haven't written anything since. I used Finale all throughout college to notate my compositions. I've saved all my scores. I'm a bit leary about distributing them out, but we can talk more about it. Are you wanting to see the score for "Dreaming in Color"?
