AH ok, how much memory do you have right now? If you have 2gb or so memory then you wont need that, i really suggest if you can to just upgrade GPU and CPU. What socket is your motherboard?

Turn off all programs except the essentials and the game to try and help also. Check the demos out to see how they run.

i don't know how to overclock my cpu :P i overclocked a little from 1.6 ghz to 1.86 ghz but i don't think it makes difference

oo man yeah your CPU is REALLY holding you back. Due to your CPU id say you MIGHT get away with high settings in crysis, and probably high in grid with decent fps. Crysis might have to be played in medium. Maybe try Overclocking your cpu if possible to help.

was playing demo , i get like 38 lowest when smoke... , like 51+ fps mostly.

tried turning some things off or low and i got 85-100 fps avg lol wow the 8800gt sucking :D:D
