But check out The Ramones.They could be considered the godfathers of pop punk.They are considered as the 1st band to be called punk rock,but they have a pop-punk sound.Rufio started in 2001 so it cant be considered old school.Check out The descendents.Theyre oficialy the 1st pop punk band and started way back in 78.This bands got nothing on them
