Ok, so I am getting ready to put some clubmans on my CB550. What brand and where did you get yours? Also, do you have any helpful hints on installation? Do you think running the control wires outside the bars would be smarter and or possible with the stock switches?
Ok, so I'm getting ready to put some clubmans on. Where did you get yours? Any helpful hints when putting them on would be greatly appreciated. Also, I may try just putting the wiring outside the bars. Do you think that would work with different control switches? Thanks.
@MrTantor44 I got my clubmans from JC Whitney. And i wrote a quick tech article on how to wire the bars, im not sure how it would work with different controls.
let me know how it goes ill post everything on your page
@xedge4lifex Thanks. I have even consider getting Norman Hyde M Bars instead of the cafe bars. They may be a little easier to install and more comfortable to ride.... and still look cool of course.
@MrTantor44 i put the clubmans on because i was just like, "oh clubmans gone' have me a cafe racer!" when i should have thought, hmm what will be more comfortable, and now im thinking of an r6 front fork setup with clip ons. its all about what suits the rider
the clubmans when positioned correctly fit on the bike perfect and clear the tank when they are turned all the way. however honda ran internal wires on the stock bars, so getting your stock controls to work with aftermarket bars its a pain in the ass to say the least.
This ride is so pimp... the clubmans give it the final touch. Ride safe!

I like the clubman handlebars. Were they hard to fit on your bike? Also, where did you get the 4 into 2 exhaust?
