  • This guy is an IDIOT! These are NOT reverse curls! Reverse curls are when there is elbow flexion with a fully pronated hand. These are reverse wrist curls. Muscles worked: exensor carpi radialis , extensor carpi radialis brevis, and extensor carpi ulnaris. This "know nothing" refers to these muscles as the "outside" of the forearm because he doesn't know any better. Find a certified, qualified expert who knows what they are doing. This guy is an embarrassment to the industry!

Obviously. The guy is an uneducated embarrassment to my profession. Although I knew that uninformed people might believe his instruction to be sufficient, I didn't realize anyone was STUPID enough to actually TRY to defend him. Apparently, I was sadly mistaken.

Once you get your Masters in Exercise Physiology or, at the very least, a quality certification (like NASM, for example), you might appreciate the education and commitment to the profession that is required to be on my level.   • Most people will never have arms that look like these. The reason is the lower biceps. This guy is genetically blessed to have a very long lower biceps connection. There are professional bodybuilders with bigger arms yet they don't look as good. It's not always about huge size but rather how long the muscle connection. Larry Scott is a bodybuilder that had size as well as long muscle connections in the arms.

  • i do the reverse forearm curl but i use about 10lbs on the barbell because my barbell is very light, i also do 3 sets of 50 reps and this has worked wonders for my forearms

  • @zorilaz Arnold has written a pretty well known book. You might wanna pick it up. Considering he talks about how insanely important diet is, you might want to stop talking about stuff you don't know. Diet plays a far bigger roll than 10%.

    Talk to any bodybuilder, they will agree that dieting is a huge part. You can't just eat what you want.

  • it seems to work for me i was at 75x8 straight bar curl last summer. now i am at 120x10 straight bar and was at 35'sx8 dumbell last summer and now i am at 55'sx10 this summer because of my forearm strength from rolling it down..

  • Nope the wrists are and cant be made bigger. Eat junk food anf they will get bigger and then use wrist curls to form them. That is what i do.

  • You are damn stupid. This guy makes it look gay, and this exercise can feel WEIRD as FUCK on a regular barbell. But dont be scared to add on the pounds(although it might be hard at first) on an EZ curl bar, which usually makes it feel less weird. but this exercise is SUPER important for wrist strength. For things like boxing where you need stable wrists, you HAVE to do this. now reverse wrist curls, THOSE can fuck up your wrists. dont do those.
