  • I have a decent sized dent in my passenger side door under my door handle. I tried this method and it didn't work. The dent is creased... what other methods could i use?

    Help anyone?

  • anything with a crease will not come out 100%, especially if behind the door skin handle where the brace is gets disturbed.

  • The Compressed air should be sprayed AROUND the dent and not directly at it... Atleast what I've heard.

  • yeah, the dent can't be creased otherwise your screwed...

  • didn't work for me, but maybe it depends on the size of the dent

  • Maybe you didn't heat it long enough...also make sure the can is turned upside down, that's only way cold air will come out. It takes less than one can of duster and one normal hair dryer.

  • It works but don't make my mistakes. Don't buy the cheapest blow dryer you find at Walmart. Buy a big one. Or clean really well your wife's one. Bought a small $11 one first and it didn't heat the damn thing hot enough. Took them both back after the work. One can of air duster probably won't do it. Those damn things are half empty. Might take a few tries, depending on the dent.

  • Yes, it did work. I tried pulling on the door handle to pop the dent before trying this trick.

  • did it work? i couldnt tell

  • Yeah but the girls why was the easier way...work smarter, not harder.

  • thats a girls way, just take door card of and use your hand or hammer lol nice vid anyways

  • There is "The Money Shot" starting a frame 240.lol. Just kidding cool video.

  • I'm not sure...it doesnt hurt to try

  • is that way applicable for repairing dent happened from side car door and tiny dents on the roof from minor rock

  • Should've used some ice cubes. Same principle and no need to waste money on that compressed air can.

  • @203066111 only if ice cubes were very close to -100 degrees farenheit

  • LOL, it's just a regular aerosol dust can.

True, I wasn't spraying paint...it's habit I guess to shake an aerosol can.

  • I don't understand the need for these people to shake up a can of compressed air before using it. It's not like they're PAINTING the car!

  • ?what kind of spray is that

  • Take it from someone who has tried this. It does work IF you have just the right kind of dent. If it is the right size, creases in the metal, etc. it will work

  • then the car explodes.

  • I could never use my Argentina jersey to wipe my car.

  • @sdch1000 i dont understand the joke but i thumps up.

  • the iar of the hair dryer must be hot?

  • Didnt work cause the type of dent u had.

  • @ElDuderino909 looked like it worked to me.

  • @melkon1an - wow, an internet jackass, go figure...

  • it's fixed....that will be $1500 please!

  • hahah nice
