I love your videos. People need more of this type of in depth information. When going up for school, I didn't want to know only the fun things that go with a legal career, I wanted to know all the NEGATIVE things. I wanted to know how HARD it would be. Because when you know all of that and are prepared for it, all of the good things just make it better.
Some weirdos commenting haha. Anyway, I've loved your videos! They're so helpful and I have a list of important things or tips you've given haha I'm so A-type. Thank-you :)
@xpat73: only if you go in unprepared and uninformed. I find it ironic how those individuals going into a field that focuses primarily on research didn't perform the due dilligence to conduct research on how the unemployment rate for lawyers is still high. If you want to go to law school, only go if you can go full ride or are former military with the GI Bill.
Should I go to Law School because I don't know what graduate school to go to. I want to eventually start my own business, but before that I want to have a graduate degree. Is Law school right for me?
@parthu71: NO if it's primarily for that reason. You have to love it to do it. Don't EVER do something this difficult because you can't make up your mind on other options...I wanted to practice law for almost 25 years before I finally made it to school (military).
I enjoyed listening to this diary of her experiences. Also, those interested in law school (or who may be 1L's now) should check out my videos, since I take questions from students, and make responsive videos to share with you everything I can about law school, 1L experience, admissions, etc. Leave me comments, questions, or feedback if you can
I'm in Law School now, (1st year), but in Portugal. The drinking age in Portugal is 16 and nobody even cares, i started drinking at 13, so its all kinda different . cool videos ;)
You're busy, I'm taking Copyright and Patents & Trade Secrets, but in New York, but have to know the 9th Circuit opinions. If you like Copyright, take Trademark, I'm also taking that this semester.
@shawnee732 Our same guy taught both too. I like both too, just finished the finals, although the Lanham Act is so poorly drafted, we talked about that just about every class. Looks like now they're gonna pass this SOPA, sort of like DMCA Part II, a whole new frontier in cyber law.
I hear that law school is at least twice the work as undergrad. I'm an undergrad and I can't imagine working while taking college classes. I give you props.
Your school is in California and there's amazing food around you. I have a feeling I know what school you go to. I know it sounds like a wild guess, but something tells me you're from... a really good school, I'll leave it at that.
oh, can u say what type of assignments you get in law school? like is it more little assignments due the very next day? or large assignments due later on? do u ever have to do group work? did u know anyone in ur classes? if not what was it like being on ur own with out anyone u know?
Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make this, could u also answer what do u wear to your classes? can u show up in sweat pants? or do u have to dress like a lawyer?
@shawnee732 do they teach you all the terms like when i watch a video of a lawyer addressing the court some of the things he says makes no sense what so ever, just some of the words he is using. do they teach you words you need to know that you may not have ever heard of?
@nloukas2323 It's okay. I'm actually not answering that, just for privacy reasons and because I wanted to feel free to openly talk about my school and professors without (possibly) getting in trouble. But I will say that my school is in California :)
@shawnee732 Constitutional Law I, Contracts I, Property I, Torts I and Criminal Law I. During your first semester what were some of the more interesting classes for you?
@TheWillPoker I took Contracts, Crim Law, Civil Procedure, and Legal Writing & Research my first semester. I really liked Crim (the cases are so exciting!) but I didn't do very well on the exam :-/ The professor was notorious for giving difficult exams, and I failed to read his old exams to learn his style. Live and learn!
@shawnee732 Lol I am learning a lot just from your videos. I took a ConLaw class in undergrad that set up briefing and that has helped a lot with now being an actual law student. Anyway, I think this 'vlog' of yours is great! I thought about doing my own but I am not sure if I will.
@TheWillPoker I'm glad you're enjoying my vlog! :) You should definitely make your own if you want to. If for nothing else, it's nice to have a forum to vent in! haha
you're pretty :)

@Nocturne914 If you'd watched the video you'd know that I had just gotten out of the shower. That is water, not grease.

@Nocturne914 when she talked about her hair, one with normal intelligence level would have guessed she just washed it. so wet it is, not greasy.
