Stargate has had to purposfully add in positive religious comments in their series's to try and not look so obviously anti religious, and may I say to their detriment. The scripts dont usually flow when they do, the addition of religious texts give the scene a fake feel

If you look at the edit history of the wiki page, you will see that page was created by a user named ikester7579, and that most of the edits were made over time by him as well. He is a legitimate YouTube creationist and is appallingly stupid. The page even has a link to one of my videos in which I make fun of him. However, on October 12th there was a string of edits made by a user called tikian12. I believe tikian12 is a troll, as his YouTube account is clearly atheist and anti-creationist.

King James didn't translate the bible into english. John Wycliffe translated the bible in the 1380s.

KJ wanted to make his mark in history and deemed an official bible for the Church of England was needed. If Im not mistaken there were certain demands of KJ that needed to be met by the scribes concerning the content.
