In 1856, Charles Gounot superimposed his melody part over BACH’S Prelude 1 in C Major and that’s this video. Franz Schubert composed ANOTHER famous “Ave Maria” in 1825. Schubert wrote it for one of Sir Walter Scott’s epic poems. In it Ellen prays to the Virgin Mary asking for help. Others later added the full Latin text of the Catholic prayer to Schubert’s composition.

@sakurarules233 its nice, but viola is much more. consider playing it (too). it is useful since they are similar. when learning the viola you learn the C alto clef, AND G clef. violin only G clef. so the transition viola>violin is much easier than violin>viola later

also, if you manage the C string since begining, you will be used to it, and higher notes equivalent to violins E string will be present too. it will be a very natural transition between them

It's very easy to pick up and in no time, you'll be playing with such expression. The violin represents one of the most beautiful things in my life and it's sound needs to be shared.
