this kind of song means alot to me and i hope a lot of people out there in the world. lots of my family has either served or is serving in the military right now, and my grandfather was in the military and my uncle too. so this song means a lot to me cuz of my family being in the force. this song is amazing!!!

this sog is terrible in the best sense...it is an amazing song...but the terrible part is how it makes me cry every time...i remember when my dad was remote in korea for a whole year in 1997...i was 7...it was horrible being away from him for so long..but i salute everyone in the armed forces for doing what they do...and i salute their families for knowing that what their loved ones are doing is important and staying strong no matter how hard it gets because i know...it gets hard

We too have family in the Armed services. A nephew recently graduated a Green Beret from Special Forces Airborne.

my names emilie hubbard . im 13 . my dad was in iraq for a whole year . my whole family was praying . and god answered r prayers . he was returned safely home. at the the welcoming of him and his soldier friends . i was so happy and everybody in my family was crying

I saw a little girl in Navy digi's singing this for the talent show at my sister's school. I cried. My dad was a sailor all my life, and now my hubby is a Marine, I know the feeling all to well.

omg.. i love this song so much.. its so true!. my best fridnds dad is in the navy and hes like my dad too.. last year he wasent able to be home for christmas. it was hard. but this year luckily before he goes back to iraq from training he got to come home for christmas!. i love you dad #2!...
