my friend is getting almost the same guitar as you. but its got a mahogany body quilted maple top floyed(sp?) rose trem and i dont know what kind of pickups. its pretty awsome. helped him pick it out :D

Why would you ever want to buy a guitar made from ASSWOOD (Yes i mean ASS) unless it was a beginners guitar ...

Early Jem's were basswood and Ernieball petrucci's were basswood up until the BFR version. Neither of these guitar are considered "beginner" nor are they cheap. Many players prefer the light weight and medium tonal qualities. Someday you'll know what you're talking about when you grow the fuck up...

dude i started playing guitar with a 90s mahogany bodied Ibanez, you know what they say about mahogany guitars, being the best body wood and things..

but then my friend lend me his PGM, and all i can say is damn!! it actually as good, if not better sounding than my guitar!! why do you think JP,EVH made their signature guitars from basswood??? they could've just made it with 3000$ piece exotic woods.. it's because the basswood actually sound good

I guess i'll have to try them out because i've only seen them on the low end versions of signatures and low end guitars and i'm staring to hear good things about it, but what about ash woods, and nato know anything bout them?

well ive heard nato called "eastern mahogany" before, so im guessing it would sound pretty similar to normal mahogany.

Took me awhile to respond cause i got better things to do than argue with pricks on YouTube. But anyways thats the RETAIL signature guitar, you dont think someone like Noodles whos signature guitar is only about $650 (Depending where you get it) would ACTUALLY be playing a guitar JUST like that. There endorsed so they get custom made MAHOGANY BODIES, NECK THROUGH, built at the LACS not by the random Japanese employers they got (Excluding J-Craft) read interviews with professional guitar players

This guitar has a great feature, it sound like guitar from Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme Band) because of Ash Wood Body.
