  • Where did you get the ruler with a handle and grip?

  • Can i use a glass cutter for this? its diamond plated. Will it work the same way

  • @jibbsandshake I have a glass cutter as well. it doesnt do the same thing.

  • @uarujoey how can i cut acrylic into shapes of circle, stars and triangle without using machines?

  • Good video thanks... I have been "Struggling" with a Stanley knife, but don't get results like you have, so off to find an acrylic cutting tool now...

    Thom in Scotland.

  • can i just use penknife then acrylic cutter? Cause here in my country sell the cutter quite expensive

  • @jeangrey123 A penknife might work. The goal here is to "score" the acrylic. Basically cutting a grove into it. Some practice with some scrap acrylic would be best.

  • where did u get the acrylic sheets. do stores like lowes or home depot sell them> thanks

  • @jptzy Em plastic. A company in canada.

  • @jptzy I know osh and lowes home depot carry some acrilic but usually thin

  • @jptzy home depot does

  • @jptzy Home Depot and Lowes sell it. Or Plastic shops

  • Thank you for this video, I was using the tool backwards.

Now I see where I went wrong.

  • @renesoap no problem. Glad you enjoyed the video and learned something from it!

  • Hi and thanks for making the informative video? But quick question, do you think I could use a hobby knife as an alternative instead of that specific acrylic cutter?

  • @llJorgelI As long as it etches the acrylic, then i dont see why not!

  • thanks for the great vid buddy. now i can start my DIY! :)

  • @r3ckl3ss4b4nd0n Good luck!

  • Nice video. I need to cut a 14" acrylic globe but the cuts I need to make aren't going to be straight. How should I go about this? Should I do it using the same blade you have? Any suggestions? Thanks :)

  • @ValeStuff Using a table saw would be best. Turning the globe as it cuts threw.

  • wowww you made that look EASY! i had the same tool and it wouldnt cut my plexi glass. maybe because it wasnt sharp enough??

  • @Coltons350z

Im thinking the cut was not deep enough

  • @uarujoey i did the same with good amount of pressure but didnt get those stream of plastic where you made the cute. i think my tool wasnt sharp enough

  • @Coltons350z That could also be the reason too. In fact, probably why it didn't work as well for you.
