@jeangrey123 A penknife might work. The goal here is to "score" the acrylic. Basically cutting a grove into it. Some practice with some scrap acrylic would be best.

Nice video. I need to cut a 14" acrylic globe but the cuts I need to make aren't going to be straight. How should I go about this? Should I do it using the same blade you have? Any suggestions? Thanks :)
@uarujoey i did the same with good amount of pressure but didnt get those stream of plastic where you made the cute. i think my tool wasnt sharp enough

@ValeStuff Using a table saw would be best. Turning the globe as it cuts threw.

wowww you made that look EASY! i had the same tool and it wouldnt cut my plexi glass. maybe because it wasnt sharp enough??
