Note: The Gl2 Camera is an excellent camera if you just dedicate some time to study it's features. I have one and I have paired it with a Wide Angle (.7 58mm) and its has provided some wonderful results. All you need to add is the MA-300 Audio XLR input for mic..and it's a wonderful set up...Most of the reviews I've seen are poor and does not give the GL2 a fair shake.

question, you said not to switch tapes, I used a Sony tape in cannon gl1, but I want to use a Panasonic tape. can I clean my camera heads then safely use Panasonic?

Sony premiums are the best tapes ever. Period. Also, you can switch tape companies as long as you run a head cleaner for 10 seconds. Don't believe what this lady says about sony tapes, because i'm stacked up like a nigga on sony prems and they are the shit ever.
