Well gas is cheaper then any kind of fuel right now and it will be for a long time independent of the gas companies, or of the effects it has on the environment. Plus he will have to buy a new fuel efficient car like Toyota Prius which is $22,000. If he decides to buy an electric car, he will have to charge some were, which will cost, and the car will be even more expensive.
