  • These are 16mm shorts, not 8mm. I'm the person who purchased this film series (and many others)from an estate sale in Gate City, Virginia. The original owner was a 16mm hobbyist who shot home movies and collected many Castle 16mm shots and it could possibly be from the '50s. My video dub is crude at best - I simply setup the 16mm projector and shot it with a video camera. I literally had to splice some of the films back together, they were really in bad shape. I assure you they are vintage.
