I was enjoying the anthems until I got to this one. And the German one. Can't we lay Germany's history to rest and give the victims of Nazism the peace and dignity they deserve? There is plenty of good wartime humour out there, but it's mostly written by people who lived through the war in Europe, who earned the right to laugh at their own misfortune. Not by twenty-first century Americans.

Then again, 76 voters out of 86 seem to like the vid, which to me is a rather depressing statistic.
