TJS never say he is confrontation but from his behavior and his speeches, we all see he will confront the government. Look at the way he debate with TT in the TV. anyway this is just my personal view.

GMS is a sour grape. He's simply jealous of TJS who is more popular than him. GMS doesn't know how to differentiate PE from GE. PE is not the Opposition Party vs. PAP. TJS WAS an opposition party and had been with SDP for only 3 months, unlike TKL who was with PAP for almost 30 years. TJS did not say he will CONFRONT the government, so don't put words in his mouth, please. Besides, the Hainan Clan did not endorse TJS. If TKL loses PE, it's because of you, GMS.

Mr Goh Meng Seng's criticism of Tan Jee Say is uncalled for and is based on a misunderstanding of TJS's take on his role as President. I don't remember TJS ever saying that he will be a stumbling block to the PAP govt on every issue, Monday to Sunday. His stand is simply that he will scrutinise each and every proposal with a fine comb w/o fear or favour before giving his presidential assent, something that any President should do.
