Why u don't scan computer with ANTIVIRUS?

i like to tell you that you can use a HighJack this scan and remove any file that not ment to be in there and then do a Malwarebytes scan to find the threats if not you can use ComboFix if only guided by a person that knows how to use it and tell you what to do with it too and ComboFix does removes most shit like this but you first use RKill to kill the process then use malwarebytes or combofix.

to remove browser hijacker.deskbar, you should run super antispyware in safe mode. It will work.

@ahameedm59 - Not always. Malware can be very devious and frequently changes making removal methods different. In many cases, using a few simple, free programs will remove the malware :-)

@jegvilhais - Because there are some versions that mbam don't remove and doesn't repair desktop hijacks, SmitfraudFix does, two different apps for different types of malware :-)

@ skibb19 - If only it was that simple! The virus embeds itself into the restore Points and some can also embed themselves into the BIOS :-)

Hi sir i got a problem.I had a malware roque install 2 weeks ago and i deleted with malware bytes and everything runs ok BUT my broswer IE when i click on a link is dosen't take me to the right webpage it takes me to advertisemtns or page were something is scanning my pc(fake virus) does this SmitfraudFix can clean my pc from the problem i have?

HoustonRocket281 - It's an easy fix that works in many cases, but also depends on the malware that was installed. This is the easy way though :-)

MrBryars - Delete your Hosts: C: Drive and double click, then double click on the Windows folder, open the system32 folder, locate the drivers folder and open the etc folder. Delete ALL of the hosts files, DO NOT delete lmhosts, networks, protocol or services :-)

YES YES YES THIS WORKS!!! I just did it! And I can now once again go to the links I click on and not get redirected anymore!! I caught the podmena virus crap & now its gone!! Was so easy!! For the first time I've caught a nasty browser hijacker and was able to handle it myself!! Thanks so much for this video!!!

I actually used SmitFraudFix several years ago to get a virus off a friends computer that nothing else would clean.  Worked great.
