Carole was exquisite. My father got to dance with her at a USO show in the war and said she was nice as can be--I imagine he told her he, too, was from WI. Tragic that Rex Harrison threw her over, but we have some nice memories of her.
Thank you for this post , you let me know Carole Landis ( new for me but maybe i stil know and forget it ) i love very much the old fashions American movie , thank for the info
Bravo, your tribute to Carole Landis is amazing. There is currently an effort on-line to have Ms. Landis awarded the Medal of Honor for her tireless work in the war effort. Sadly, not many people know who she was, and she is best remembered, not for what she did in life, but how she died.
Oh. How very beautiful !! What a wonderful and colorful Tribute to a true Lady. Carole was one of the most active entertainers of our troops during World War 2. She actually deserves a medal of commendation for her dedication. She was, also, a talented writer--and wrote 'Four Jills in A Jeep' recounting her experiences during that time frame. Her fashion and jewelry style return us to an Era of Class. Thank You for this tribute ! I enjoyed it so much !
In an era of screen goddesses, Ms. Landis was of unsurpassed beauty, and still is. As an object of heterosexual male desire, she had it all. As it's likely that none of us knew her as a person, she is now admired..even worshiped (some men will understand) only as an image of exceptional and spectacular beauty. Search for and view the many hundreds of photos of her and you will appreciate this opinion. Thank you Carole.
Impressive! This is a beautiful montage, dedicated to an unsung heroine of the silver screen. You've got a gift for this; Carole was gorgeous, its a shame she left us so young. Love the music, its perfect!
she was beautiful gir she's gone too soon...fly with angels Carole!

Love this tribute. Beautifully done. Poor Carole, another in the long line of Hollywood blondes whose lives ended tragically.
