Easy...go to a film school (editing school in particular) But we use programs (this was used by After Effects and maybe Final Cut Pro)

You can buy After Effects for about $3,500 bucks, and FCP for $999

For sound there are websites you can download free sounds... just google it and youll find everything... its pretty easy...

Hardest thing is to actually have a good computer otherwise your comp. will be alot laggy

Just let it render once, and it should be fine until you add another effect.

9 doesn't have the '3d source alpha' (the one you can animate with

This was done using a logo created in Adobe Illustrator, imported as an .eps into After Effects. I used Trapcode Shine, a plug-in. I masked all but a little strip of the logo in shine for the 'scan' parts, and modified the opacity for the other parts. At the end, I just simply keyframed the reference point for the shine across the back of the logo. It was very easy to do.

It's more easy just to save the Illustrator project file and then just import it into AE :)
