Why do the parents just stand there, starting at him at the end of the sequence with the mother calmly putting her hands in her pockets? Shouldn't they be running into the house to see who he attacked?? Stupid

@bxy72 THANK YOU!!! I agree! I think the writer should have had the mother shaking her son by the shoulders saying "Michael? Is your sister home? Where is Judy?"  then running into the house yelling "Judy? Judy!!!"
