i have always taken all the strings off,ive never had a problem with the neck on either acoustic or electrics, but i know alot of people that doit this way and ppk that do it one at a time,so i guess to each their own.
well, that was my first thought, too, but he never used it because all of a sudden it was like u gotta wait 24 hours before u tune it so the strings can stretch.
I was told by a guitar tech to never take all the strings off a guitar at once, but instead to do each one individually or else the neck will warp due to the lack of tension. Is this true?
Your neck will not warp, but you may have to adjust the truss rod on some guitars after you change the string. You will NEVER want to take all of them off with a floating trem if you do not block it first.
thanks for showing me how to do it.
u are awsome
keep on working!!!
