I disagree with sciffydof and whimsic, throwing the jacks gives the audience the feel that you have nothing to hide, everything is fair and normal. Loved the performance, very smooth and well practiced. That's a definate thumb up for you ! ;)
Really cool trick. Glad to see you back, so you can show the newcomers how it's done. You did a really nice Elmsley near the end. How long did it take you to perfect it?
@TheMatrix72370 Whoa! I thought the Elmsley count was the worst part of the trick. It should be performed diagonally and more slowly and smoothly. Please check out andyfieldmagic's Perfect Elmsley Count Tutorial, and also my Picasso Aces trick for a performance.
@supremecardmonkey If you wish to recommend that I watch a performance, tutorial, or both when it comes to magic, please limit yourself to the ladies, as I have given up on watching the men. Thank you.
@supremecardmonkey Men are visual creatures. They like looking at things that please the eye. Women fulfill that need because they are visually pleasing to look at. When you add the ingredients of mystery and surprise to the mix, of which women have both in natural abundance, and is essential to magic, it is easy to tell why I prefer female magicians over male magicians. What you've just read is both 100% true AND 100% false at the same time in my case.
@TheMatrix72370 That was very poetic.... ;) In that case I suggest you check out wood071. She's a great magician on YouTube, although she hasn't been uploading for a while. She has a pretty good Elmsley count, in her Twisting the Aces video.
Well I am no perfectionist, and in live performance throwing the jacks like that has a greater impact as it gives the spectator a "beat that!" kind of an image :P Thanks for commenting.
I agree with whismic. I dont feel it helps the trick.
Although I see what you are getting at, the way you did it didn't work.
And I also feel that the last... move could have been replaced by a less suspicious one. Like... why would you put the jacks on top then take away the other cards?
In the actual trick, the last move is (what I believe) and extremely easily detectable and overused move, especially for live performances. Therefore to make my performance seem fair in all situation, I had to variate that move with the one I chose. Yes, it isn't the best move to use however in almost all live situation it is never caught and easily overlooked.
Your input and feedback is appreciated, thanks a lot! :)

Just at the end when you throw the jacks, it doesn't make the trick look "smooth".

This is my other account.
I don't really like the style of Rhodell that much but would that last move he used be similiar to one used by Lee Asher in one of his tricks?
