okay, i have watched a bit of the vid so far and i am not sure if i like it. A little hints tho. Don't use the Double kick / Bass Drum line. You have to have a Low Frequency Kick Set on 1/4, You're bassline is going to be 3/4, Looks like this Kick/Base/Base/Base, Don't mess around with the Attack at all with the bassline. Something else, I seen what you did with the drum roll there. Rather then Setting it up and speeding the durm line up, You should use a sample Drumline so you can set Pitch.

EMX-1 , in my opinion, is something you use for minimal, psytrance, goa and DnB . It really isn't the kind of machine you could make a good entertaining 3 minute hard-trance song. I have only heard ONE person pull it off. If you want a EMX-1 it is more of a machine to support other equipment and software, rather than being a lead.

Only via MIDI, but the EMX can send and receive MIDI and NRPN messages too (so you can control something in Cubase with its controls or vice-versa).
