Britain and France may have declared war on Poland, but they didn't go to war for Poland. The British were driven out of mainland Europe at Dunkirk. Next, the Battle of Britain was won because Hitler decided not to pursue the invasion of GB. And later, GB fought the Germans in No. Africa to maintain their oil fields in the middle east, and protect the Suez Canal.
The liberation of Europe didn't come until D-Day, and, with the U.S. involved.
And unfortunately for Poland, with the USSR, also.
Regardless of what happened at the end of the war, at least Britain and France went to war for Poland. They could have left it to Germany and Soviet Union to divide up and stayed out of the war. I agree that Poland was sold out, however from a Soviet perspective may they were trying to secure their borders. After all, 20 million dead and after being invaded 3 times in a century (Napoleon, WWI and WWII) they have had enough.
This about Soviets is their propaganda. Securing borders? This film is so got damn stupid!!!!!! It uses Nazi propaganda, including scenes from Kampfgeshwader Lutzow! Poles never used horses agains tanks! It is Nazi propaganda!
that is kinda true, but not entirly. Polish Calvary was thought to be one of the best in the east europe, so they tried to outsmart the A7V german tanks by speed. And they failed. when they tried to leave thier horses and fight like infantry they were swept by machine guns.

I know almoust all about 1918-39 Army and I don't recall even one situation, when cavalry was swept by mgs when dismounting. I recall high noumbers of destroyed german tanks, I recall Bofors AT cannons and at rifles, I recall charges against german infantry...
Look into the 'Phoney War'. Britain and France didn't do anything while Poland got butchered. Poland's sovereignty / independence was of no consequence to to West. If it was, why was it OK for the USSR to invade the East of Poland, but not for Germany to take the West? WWII was started for other reasons...

Poland fought almost 5 weeks with 2 agressors:Germany and USRR without any help.
Poland was attacked from 5 sides:Germany,Prussia,USRR,Prussia and czechs Tsin.
Poland had the biggest resistence movement ,Poland provided the fourth allied contingent.
Unfortunately,then in 1944-45 year Red Army came to our country again to kill our the best soldiers from Home Army and civils from Warsaw Uprasing.

It's one of this nazis propaganda movies with slovak cavalery.Slovakia helped Hitler in 1939 year to invade Poland.
Certainly we have had cavalery,but it wasn't main part of our troops.

No. Polish cavalry used horses to transport and ride. They fought like infantry leaving horses in the second line.
