I just graduated my Encampment, and I have to say, that jodies like this are not uncommon. In fact, my squadron had a few jodies like this. It may be unprofessional, but we do work very hard, and sometimes we like having breaks. It is how we do things.  -C/SrA "Joker"

A good leader gives the cadets under him/her a time to have some fun and destress for a little while. They were not disrespecting the program in any way. My encampment had a few moments like this and it is perfectly fine and plenty professional. I have been in for 3 years and I enjoy seeing the fun times like these. These kids are the future leaders of tomorrow.

I would never let Cadets under my Command to do that in Uniform. PT Gear or Civies is a different story. But this is not professionalism and it hell of is not 'perfectly fine'. Like said many times before, they are in Uniform!

when wearing the uniform, you should be profesional; profesionalism is something that should (and usually does) set CAP apart from our other equivalent such as the Young Marines or USNSCC. Now, I'm all for having fun, especially when out of the public's eye, (lol) but this is truly low.

As Aaronmcnello said, this makes us look like kids just playing solider; and we're much, much more than that. Have fun, but don't go as far as rapping (!!!!!!) and dancing in formation.

it didnt really take away the experinace. it was kinda somthing we HAD to do. like i thought it as an insult. i didnt want to get out there and do it with 2 girl flights but my LT. made us. none of the guys wanted to do it. but if you were there that week i promise you would have gotten a huge experiance. i was Golf Flights gidon and i personally learned a lot about team work and leadership there. we had a army cornel i think there so ya it got hectic for some ppl. goin back next year!
