The Manitou Cliff Dwellings is a great place to visit especially with children. Children have a blast. They can climb in and around the dwellings and learn about Anasazi culture. My son has been visiting the dwellings for years and still is not tired of it.

The manitou cliff dwellings arent orginal to the area no cliff dwellers were in this area (if you want to see real cliff dwellings go to sante fe, new mexico), they arent real either, they have built in speakers and modern construction to support them, and it is not the place to go if you visit the Pike's peak region. A good place to go is the Garden of the God's vistor center, its free and its a beautiful orginal park.
