IMO GFT's superb musicianship was not properly acknowledged on SingOff last year. The pitching here is 100% accurate through a pretty serious set of changes with every chord voiced, blended and weighted to perfection; the time is rock-solid (it's SO difficult to to nail down this kind of slow-swing groove acapella) and the phrasing is exquisite. Their seemingly-effortless nonchalance helps to mask the truth - this is a brilliant ensemble giving a breathtaking display of top vocal jazz technique.

I really appreciate the creativity, skill and finesse in this arrangement and how expertly it has been tailored to show off the group's skills and deliver in a short time-slot - it's perfect, surprising and original. Now that the hype of the show is over, it's interesting to see which perfomances will stand revisiting; and this is definitely one that repays repeated listening. I like it more (and find more to like in it) each time I hear it! I shall be returning to it for a long while yet....
