  • Props to the camera person for watching maangchi eat everytime while he films

  • How long can the broccoli pickles can last in the fridge? I can't wait to try this recipe xD

  • @grcrgn You can enjoy it until it runs out.

  • Could you also edit the ingredients for a smaller portion? I dont think i will need that much broccoli :)

  • Maangchi, I don't know if anyone has ever said this to you before but you are SO efficient!

  • @kngiht84 Thank you very much!

  • How long does the Pickled Broccoli last before it goes off?

  • Nice but i was horrified by chopping on newspaper.

  • Very pretty

  • I made thiss last night but also added a (chopped) head of caulifower so I doubled the recipe. Warning! Go ahead and double everything except the salt! When I tried it this morning, it was way to salty. Plus, it really hasn't had time to "pickle" so there's not much vinegary taste. I've made kimchi before so I think a few more days in the fridge will produce the desire results. I'd reccomend adding garlic cloves, pepper flakes, pepper corns, or even some Sriracha hot sauce. But I like it spicy.

  • How do you make the healthy rice?

  • Hey Maangchi ^^ I have a request. I'm pretty much addicted to anything pickled xD So I was wondering if you could do a Korean version of pickled onions? My favorite pickled veggie <3 Thanks ^^

  • @DigimonTamersFan09 sure, onion pickle is delicious. It's included in the list of my upcoming recipes.

  • Bryant Park... who hoo!

  • I love it when u were out

  • I love you :D and your Cooking

  • no one in my house likes broccoli so I'm going to make this once broccoli is in season, maybe this will help us eat more of it

  • Mmmmmm And I love that shirt !!To cute~No waste Great the stems are great too!

  • maangchi you rock! :)

  • what's the name of this song and who's it by?

  • @azarsaysyousmell It's 'Maria' by Blondie

  • @Maangchi thank you!! :D

  • @Maangchi was that in NY city? I wish we had a huge park like this, when I get to heaven I will be soo happy to have a park like that to roam in. Awe I can't do this it is to hard I wish I could cook like this for my 3 year old...

  • wow! cool music maagchi! wats the tittle for the music! ohh BTW ur tops very very cute and nice... hehhe " Make Me Melt" lol

  • I really love watching your videos. Broccoli is one of the few vegtables that I enjoy eating. I would like to know how to make a light brown sauce that I could cook with or put on plain Broccoli but I cant seem to duplicate the flavor or consistancy that you find at most Asian restraunts. I know this is simple for most but can you help me? Trying to eat more veggies but want a bit of flavor added. Thanks

  • I remember asking you about pickled broccoli because my local Korean restaurant has it and you said you didn't know, glad that you have a recipe now. For an extra flavor component toss them with a dash of sesame oil when you're ready to serve or eat them.

  • @jackburton2009 yum!

  • Maangchi, I bought the same colander strainer after watching your videos!! It is so handy, and I use it all the time. Thanks!

  • @kaerunohime yeah, it's very handy. Cheers! : )

  • I think its great that you even use the broccoli stem! I love to use the stem and it is nice once you peal the outside off!

But dont throw your newspaper and broccoli scraps into the "trash"! you should compost them. Does your city not have a green program for food scraps?

  • I loved how you took us with you...^____^. luv your vids ALOT, YOU made me love cooking my own meal

    THANX ALOT

  • @SHioo5iH thank u!!

it seems really delicious. I'll try to make it. But i wonder how long can i keep it store in fridge? thanks for the recipe. ^^

  • @tcubet3 Until it runs out! : )

  • @tcubet3 you can keep it until it runs out. It won't go bad because it's pickled.

  • @Maangchi thanks for answering. I made it as the way u show and it's really good. I finished eating it after 2 weeks though i asked u how long will it last. lolz.. I've to made it again. :P

    I just noticed that~

  • nice video...

btw, can cauliflower be a substitute for broccoli?
