The USPS is loosing billions. they need to reorganize and make itself more efficient. this means coming into the 21st century, closing centers that are not showing a profit and getting to the right amount of employees. Vast portions of the process can probably be automated and should be. We should goto 3 day a week delivery and raise the rates on bulk mailings. these bulk mailings end up in the trash for the most part. the USPS is loosing massive money - evolve or die.
