@rock678cave I think it depends on the character. If you check the moves list (pause menu), it should say at the very bottom: how many blast guages you need, if you need to hold right/left/up and click the right analogue stick (R3).
@chriseverett32 The "halo" item is a fusion item. You must buy a fusion potara from the item shop. Then also buy "One who loves Justice" and "King Yamma's Stamp". Then go to evolution: fusion. Click on the two items and fuse them to get Halo. You must do this every time you want another Halo. When you go to customizing Goku, give him halo. The halo will appear in gameplay.
