Hey good job man. A good parody of the type of average Hollywood shit we see in our cinemas every week. Movie-going shouldn't always be a passive experience. Here is a film that challenges the viewer. It is unapologetic, heart-breakingly sad raw. And I am all the better for that. Thank you Charlie Kauffman for slapping me awake!

You can challenge the viewer while still making sense. Synecdoche was a senseless, pretentious, plotless piece of shit. If you want the mainstream to care, make a movie that makes sense but still deals with intelligent issues.

Bloody brilliant...the promotional aspect of film has never been so blatantly formulaic. I suppose material success must lend itself to imitation. Love this film by the way. It was a total financial flop, and I'm happier that way, I think.
