@ 6:37 $4 trillon dollar debt! I bet no other country would or could do that. Not Ireland or Greece. Hell not even Germany or China. If our national debt goes over $5 trillion, well, then we'll see problems... like... persuading the current generation this burden is the responsibility of the next generation? $15 trillion and counting, what are the consequences?
10 years later, triple the debt... I don't see any consequences. So why care?
Its interesting to actually watch these people and hear their voices, because Ive heard about them through american history and such, but that was all text. I dont know about watching every debate, but I think a debate with George HW Bush, then governor Clinton, and a third party candidate is quite interesting in particular.
YES I DID LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE DEBATE. This stuff IS interesting. DO NOT TAKE IT DOWN... Any political junkie, and there are many out there, enjoy listening to paste debates of Clinton, HWBush, GWBush, Dole, Dukakis, Carter, Reagan, etc. Thanks for posting this! Really.
@krazygreen Considering I am a Social Science teacher................I, myself, DO consider this kind of stuff interesting. BUT, to watch the entire things, to me, seems a little useless...

The biggest problem we have is special interests. For example: The oil lobby does not have the peoples interests in mind.. The money they "donate" to politicians is not from the goodness of their hearts, it's legalized bribery..
@TheCrazyphuck Yes, this is history and interesting, it's better then veering off into the strange world of the alien baby/zit popping sections of youtube.
if people would just by principle not vote for either a democrat or a republican, the entire political field would open up to all kinds of interesting independents; the american 'democracy' is a farce right now; i'm dying to see an independent win the election
*facepalm* Clinton was probably the worst president of all time. The only reason there was any boom in the economy was because of growth with computers, transportation and the internet (things he had nothing to do with). It's sad that people give him credit for anything other than causing 9/11.
You know you are losing quality when you upload in 240p. VHS are not so low-res. The compression artifacts in 240p can be distracting. 480p would probably be pretty close to capturing all the detail available.
Notice how Lehrer introduces Perot last and by implying he is just a spectator "sitting at home". The MSM is great at brainwashing people into disregarding third parties. You would think a journalist would want it interesting with a third party candidate, but they are beholden to the same interests that the Republican and Democratic Parties are beholden to. Twenty minutes into the debate and Perot still has not been asked his own question.
This guy did all this before he was president. The Jews knew it all, but wanted him for some reason. The ones he killed were his bodyguards and others that knew his business dealings. The guy screwed black prostitutes and had a child with one. He used drugs and was a draft dodger and had many killed like the Mahoney girl and Willie Brown, Google: Juanita Broadderick and read what he did and his whore wife threatened a woman to keep her mouth shut. It's time these bastards left and soon.

looking back on this, Perot was not as bad as alot of people made him out to be.
I was a kid back then but now listening to this, I would vote for Clinton but Perot would have
really made me have more respect for him.. He had alot of good ideals!
They should get him to help Obama now. :)

I was too ignorant back then and therefore did not vote for Perot.

Sorry, force of habit. Every time Mr. Lehrer says "Mr. President" I think Bill Clinton.
