Bishop Allen is a Brooklyn-based band that does loveable indie pop much like this Suburban Kids. They're pretty good! Look for Dimmer, Rain and Click, Click, Click, Click on Youtube. Also, my absolute number one...a Japanese multiinstrumentalist called Shugo Tokumary. It may sound obscure and hard to listen to, but trust me. It's not. Simple folk pop with deep, but magnificent melodies...look for Parachute, Metrion and Rum Hee.
