  • I remember before I got this my friend said there was some game like this where you could ride a motorcycle. This wasn't it though but I'm glad I picked it up, still got the cartridge to this day.

And damn where's the sound Karnov makes when he's down? Sounds like a fart kinda lol.

  • Did anyone notice that Karnov's boss theme in the game sounds different from all the other bosses theme? It starts out the same, but then it changes to something that sounds like the level theme in the Karnov game, but all the other bosses (excluding the final boss) just get the regular theme... what's up with that? Was Karnov already a special character of theirs when this game was made or what?

  • How anyone could say this was a clone of Double Dragon is beyond me since this game is entirely different. This is one of my many favorites of all time. This is a great game and this game a long with Midnight Resistance and Two Crude Dudes, I wish I could see remade 2-D with the modern graphics on the PS3 or X-Box 360.

  • ooh, wtc in the background of first level, kinda awkward

  • While i enjoyed most of the arcade to nes ports, this one is very crappy.

It almost feels that Ljn ported this game. Or our good dear friends, Ocean.

  • NOT BAD!

  • Man this takes me back really really young, me and my friend kick ass in this game, even by myself I kick ass, thanks for the upload can't believe I forget this game. I hope it will be on the WiiWare some time around. And I hated Rampage.

  • I remember playing the arcade version of this many times at a Pizza Hut in San Juan (PR), :-). Good memories. Rampage was also fun.

  • Why is Karnov a boss in this game? How much did the ninjas pay my favorite fire breathing NES hero to turn bad?!

  • You may be Bad, but are you Bad enough to defeat my NINJAS WHO SET THEMSELVES ON FIRE AND RUN AT YOU?!

  • This game was so easy because of that power punch when you held down either A or B I forget but it killed everyone but bosses in one hit.

  • why is duke nukem at the start of the video,"asking are you a bad enougyh dude"?

  • the music in the intro is cool. what song is it?

  • Level 2 BGM of Bad Dudes

  • that stage 4 boss kinda looks like a Borg.

  • this game esd always hard for me. couldnt beat it or get too far

  • Hahaha, Karnov, oh cornshaq. I have that one on the 'ol NES shelf too.

  • I burned many an arcade token back in the day on this game. :)

  • heh...you weren't the only one

  • you're f*ckin' baaad sh*t.

  • So this is where "you just lost the game" came from... Crap I just lost. =Ι

  • 1 more comment: didn't know you could low jump the train. I'd always miss those jumps because I'd hit the top of the screen with my high jump unless I was exactly at the very edge of it. By the way you can punch out the shurikens instead of having to avoid them. I barehanded most of the bosses though.

  • Theres another strategy my friend came up with against the claw boss in stage 2. If you stand on top of the truck and constantly do the leg sweep kick move, he'll repeatedly jump into it and kill himself.

  • yes as done on my livevideo review. Thanks expo. 1st boss I beat by jumping down, popping Karnov and the 3rd boss, and jumping back up and waiting for him to follow me only to hit him. That game was one crazy learning experience out of frustration. Learning how to beat levels and make the cheap yet dumb bosses, like the last one where you go on the edge of the copter and duck and kick until he runs into your foot to die, look stupid was hilariously bad. I'm having flashbacks.

  • god i used to love goingt ot he arcade. playing the x-men 6 player was great. you can always play it on mame till you get the money to save.

  • That "I'm Bad" voice clip is really bad even for nes standards... though in my experience it usually sounds better on a real nes (I assume this is emulated)

  • Great job! Maybe the NES was mediocre, but the arcade was total awesome!

  • I also enjoyed the arcade version back in the day.

  • There is one were I live but it's not very big and only open one day a week

  • I actually had to rewind the video after the first "I'm bad!" because I didn't know any NES cart had voices--much less this one.

  • From what I can find, it seems Karnov's own game actually came out a year before Bad Dudes in the arcades.

  • I used to love playing this in the arcade!

    ...

There's no arcades around anymore... at least where I live. :(

  • Most have gone away I wish they would open up a nice arcade around where I live. I plan to set up a small arcade in my house I am looking for the 6 player x-men cabnet with working screens. I have starting saving for it.

  • Cornshaq is clearly a bad enough dude.

  • I agree
