Amazing!!! Thanks, Aaron! Please, can you tell me the name of the song at 0:22 and who is its composer? I wish a merry christmas and a happy new year in advance!
Cheers. The song is called 'The First Noel' and is part of a larger recording called the Savoy Christmas Medley. Played by Lloyd Shakespeare's New Piccadilly Band in 1929.
I used to think how funny it was how people moved so quickly in old movies, then one day, it hit me with a shock--that IS how we moved back then--everyone had more energy and drive.
I am a little behind on viewing may favorite YouTube subscriptions...but as usual, Aaron has gone over the top in a great way with a wonderful oldtime Christmas video!
Wow - where did you get THIS stuff? Santa Claus waving an American Flag? I have seen and loved all your 20's stuff - this doesn't disappoint...its good. Chuck
Aaron's videos are always so well made and entertaining.......and always just slightly off center,.....which is another reason they are so specially wonderful!
Have A Very Merry 1920s style Christmas to one and all.
Season's Greetings Everybody!
Also, if you love the 1920s, you'd also love Lackadaisy Cats.

Wow! What an amazing era! Beautiful and peaceful. My grandpa was a child in the 1920's. He missed the old days.

How exciting, pictures of 1920s' Dublin in one of your videos!
Merry Christmas to each and everyone from DUB, IRL!
RahmSifr 2 years ago
Which parts are in Dublin?
lcooke 2 years ago
To be honest, I can only clearly recognize 0:40 - 0:47 as Dublin. But I'm sure Mr. Aaron will be able to enlighten us.
RahmSifr 2 years ago
That's Trafalgar Square in London.
Aaron1912 2 years ago
Oops, it's London not Dublin... I apologize for my stupidity.
