  • even if you could shift as fast as an auto box and launch as well with a manual setup, turbo's lose boost when you shift, so you're going be slower either way you look at it.. but in the end manual is a more exciting to drive on the street, and that's where it counts if it's your every day car

  • fastest car in the would is an auto so shut your mouth i dont care how fast you can shift cockbags

  • Very Nice , Love the xr's with out the XR spoiler.

  • @TurboClan depends how u shift and what kinda hardware ur runnin i know guys that can shift as quick as an auto

  • @SAWZEPP id have to say manual for the fact that you can rev the vehicle to a certain point before changing gears, sorry to say that my point of view is that manuals are better than autos in drag racing 7 out of 10 an auto will play up in a drag race thats from experience i own a supercharged vs Calais i got problems with my gearbox and as all Calais come as an auto

  • "but I just wanna drift..." :)

  • Traction Control might help!!...then again

  • Hey that's me! I will never forget that day. That's what you get for trying to run in street tyres when you have 380rwkw. It behaved a lot better with the MT semi-slicks on. I ran an 11.6 that day if I remember right.

  • and thats the sign of genuine grunt! lovely spoilerless look mate.

  • lol nice guys, I like the fact you got back on it and ran over 110mph :)

  • wouldn't it be a "near hit"? you don't nearly miss something, you just miss it. that term never made sense to me. nice car.

  • @hardstylez45 haha you mean "near miss" buddy?

  • @genderbenda04

no i dont. lol thats the whole point of my comment. read it again champ.

  • @hardstylez45 ohh no worries haha. i thought you were aiming for it someway or another.

  • @hardstylez45 The term "near miss" IS the correct term. He got close to the wall (near) but missed it (miss) Hence the term NEAR MISS :)

  • @270kphT5

yea cool. i guess i just see it differently.

  • @270kphT5 yeh but how can you nearly miss something? if you missed it you missed it! nearly is another word for close haha! silly term but everyone uses it haha

  • man they need to fix that track timer everything runs 114mph in that lane, lol i did and i was only doing 96mph, still i have the time slip and my magna did 114mph LOL vids on here somewhere too, left lane ftw

  • fuck thats a sick car

  • think about it

  • "near miss" ?!......you mean, near HIT.

    Whats this "near miss" bullshit!?

  • easy answer, as turboclan said, manuals make mroe power because the weight of a flywheel + clutch, is less than the weight of a torque converter, and the easy answer is, drag racing = auto, rally or circuit racing = manual.

  • thats not why!

Its because more power is lost to heat and drag in the auto fluid. Its not coz of the torque converter weight!

  • yeah, basicaly what i said replace weight with resistance.

  • no its nowhere near what u said!

  • stop sooking, get a life.

  • u talk shit.... i call u on it.... so u tell me to get a life?!

Thats pathetic... u should be ashamed of yourself.

  • sorry mate but its because torque converter, just try to rev two same cars one manual other auto you will see big difference manual one is more responsive easier to rev

  • @marek0086 actualy it is the torque converter that suck alot of the power away it weighs twice as much as a manual flywheel and clutch put together and then theres the slack in the hydrolic process that sucks more power away my choice is manualy plus u have more control over the gears then u do in an auto, dont matter if u have manulised it its still gotta build up the hydrolic pressure to change gears

  • @xX3movamp1reXx~ Its not the weight of the Torque converter!!!.... The power is lost through fluid-friction!!!!!

  • @marek0086 yeah keep on trying to make urself out as an expert when 2 guys have already told u that it aint what ur saying u dont know shit shut ur mouth

  • @xX3movamp1reXx personally i'm a fan of manuals and prefer to drive them, but on a strip nobody could possibly say that a manual is quicker

  • @xr8brisbane i can, my dads cortina ran 12.6's and one of his mate's had same thing but it was an auto and it was runnin 13 flat

  • @xX3movamp1reXx auto is faster for drag racing unless u have 3hp..

  • still got a good time 2 sweet car m8 wat times have u run and how many rwkws does she have

  • Sweet mate, still a good time though, what mods are done?

  • hey was just wondering if you know what wheels doug has? they look good

    5stars

  • hey mate, the wheels are Speedy Infernos (19") cheers

  • @871productions i believe u mean (spinny) infernos... grat car

  • haha jebus that was close. good on ya for keeping the power down though

  • That is a sick falcon!
