There was problems on the set cos Bruce wanted Cybill off set and she didnt want to make things harder becoming lovers off set thats the problem they had they both wanted each other
LOVE these bloopers, "is there poop on me?" love it when he tries to kiss her, Bruce was one handsome guy back then!! thanks so much for sharing this!!!
2.04 Bruce tries to kiss her, just like David does with Emily. I guess when you play out the sexual tension you are intuitively drawn to kiss your opponent.
These bloopers are from the final season. You can still feel their chemistry even after five years. I don't care what anyone says...the good outweighed the bad for them both and they cared about each other. You can clearly see that. Besides, who could resist his charms? I know I still can't...even after 25 years.
It was no ones fault that Cybil got pregnant and that forced them to go a different direction.
i never agreed with Maddie losing the baby in the hopes they could create the early season shows.
I feel the fans would have stuck through any other decesion.
Since they did decide that it was David's baby they could have raised it together without being married and that could have brough a whole new reason for their arguments.
Oh man you're right, these bloopers are from the final season, a season that was very tough for them all and yet these blooper scenes show that their chemistry was very well intact. I love it when Bruce leans down on Cybill a couple times. The recipe for the on-screen chemistry of Davie and Maddie was definitely the attraction between the actors.
Please go vote for the most memorable TV moment at ABC's website in the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards section. The scene where David and Maddie finally have sex for the first time is up for vote. Please go and cast your vote if you were a fan. I was.
This is one of my favorite shows of all time..it concreted Cybill Sheppard as a female icon and launched Bruce Willis. What else could you ask for? Their chemistry was palpable. My favorite episode was when they did 'The Taming of the Shrew"...I nearly rolled on the floor laughing..and the end line "WE HATE IAMBIC PENTAMETER"..classic.
Moonlighting was syndicated on Lifetime Television back in 1992 or so. As far as I know, that's the only time it's been syndicated. I'm glad the show's on DVD for all posterity. Now I wish the powers that be could get the entire Ally McBeal on DVD.
Actually, that wasn't the only time it was syndicated. Bravo ran reruns from 2000 to 2002, and in recent times, Nick at Nite aired "Atomic Shakespeare" as part of their 20th anniversary thing back in 2005 (along with Who's the Boss? and Growing Pains on the same night).
I remember watching Moonlighting every day when I was in the sixth grade (hey, a kid can't live on Pokemon and Digimon alone for afternoon TV ;)). Such a great show, and I really need to own the DVDs.
Ouch, AmigaRipper, you are severe with Cybill, no? She is an excellent actress (even if u have the right to not like her), and she played good roles(Last Picture Show, Taxi Driver, Daisy Miller...)
In fact, Cybill and Bruce went out one time weather, Bruce stuck Cybill when he met Demi Moore, but they remained friends, and that is obvious in the screen...
Ok ok Amiga, as you want! I just mean I found that she was a very meaning actress and she made me laugh a lot. But sure, all the tastes are in the nature...
( anyway, we're at least all right on Bruce: he's very bright)
in this moonlighting Bloopers, I like the part when bruce said "oh oh oh.." and after he tried to kiss cybill (in the episode Plastic Fantastic Lovers)
i love that show! god, it's so funny and they are so great together! especially when they laugh at that parrot! that's so hilarious! love bruce<3 he's so funny :D "Peculiar weather we have here"
Actualy he says, 'ur little hands wna wrap around my neck and choke me for comin in late for that fuckin meetin' referring to the episode where dave comes in late for a meeting
damn... Bruce was the definition of charm back then. I gotta take lessons, seriously.

The show itself was almost as funny as the bloopers. It was a classic. Too bad it ran into so many production problems. Why was it never syndicated?

Maybe...but I don't like Bruce having Cybill as a friend. She's a bitch. Her rolls on movies/tv shows are mean, mad and bitched >:-(
