The only reason people "attack" Obama is because of his father. His father's Muslim name (which is also his name, since he is Barack Obama Jr.), his father's skin color, which of course got passed on to him, and his father's nationality, which makes people instantly assume that he is of that nationality as well.

the argument isnt that he wasnt born in the united states its that he is NOT native born, his father was east african, therefor not a native and law states u have to be native born, born of natives.

I'm sorry, but what the fuck? How is disliking the President mean that they are racist? They don't hate Obama because he's black, they hate him because he's extremely left wing. They would do the exact same thing no matter what he looked like. This is no more racist then people who voted for him BECAUSE he was black. (and there were a lot.) I am curious as to how one born in America who has NEVER been to Africa is actually considered African- American? My background is Scottish. I heve never been to Scotland, but from now on I would prefer to be called Scottish- American. I don't give a damn what color you are. If you sre the President of the United States, then just do a good job. I did not vote for Obama only for the reason that I am pretty much a Republican. No, you need to be native born or born on a US territory of military base. You can move away and become a citizen of another country but you then need to move back to the US at least 14 years prior to being elected.

Wasn't McCain's citizenship questioned too? Wasn't he was born in another country, but because it was on a base or small form some U.S. territory it's considered U.S. soil? I remember SOMEONE's citizenship being questioned...
